I approximate because I haven’t benched and deadlifted in months, and squat well I only have a vague idea. So I use around the estimated % counting the bands (50% this week). Though the total must have slightly heavier on bench

Haha very true, I know where I’d rather be, but it’s a pretty easy choice when you love hot weather, live in board shorts and flip flops (thongs in Oz) and live on BBQs when the sun’s out.

I have zero fashion sense and I hope people in the UK aren’t offended by my flip flop wearing (I even wearing them when preaching at my church, but it’s a very laid back church!).

I do love croissants though, just to give some love to France!

I think I have a hard time to feel them really tense from the floor. But afterwards I always have great butt and hammies soreness, and usually during the set, glutes fatigue/burn

Stance is around shoulder width I’d guess, but yeah it’s super speculative ahah.

I think this is more of a cliché, the average French person dresses as right as the average whatever. Girls usually dress better though.

Conjugate Bodybuilding - Day 5 - 25/07

Alright, so I think I’m going to stay with easier weight on the o lift, drop 10 kgs and keep a perfect form until I get used again to them. Also, platform isn’t that big, and on one of the jerks my left foot was off it and I almost dropped it ahah

Liked these BTN presses, had really good feelings in all the shoulders. Nothing much to say here, today my whole/chest area feels really big. Though it was once a super long ( 2 hours) and hard session. Plus I did it in the morning ughhh and I forgot intra.

Got a couple of not pristine reps on the cleans and it shows ahahah

Awesome, I’d be over there in a heartbeat if the Mrs was up for it, unfortunately she isn’t.

As @aldebaran said it just rains all the time over here - I still wear flip flops and boardies but still it’s miserable. I suppose I can console myself that there aren’t any drop bears here though.

To be fair I also live about that far from the beaches on the south coast, consistently seas flat, great for kayaking, swimming, snorkeling etc and about 30 mins from north coast beaches which have some really good surf.

It’s just the weather! The wind and rain actually woke me up this morning, it’s summer!

Conjugate Bodybuilding - Day 6 - 27/06

A. Overcoming isometrics, ramp up to 180 kgs by setting the pins at mid range, lifting the bar one inch and holding 6 secs

B. Zercher squat ramp up to 2 reps at 130 kgs

C. Upper-back deadlift 1 x 6 with 140 kgs, 3 x 6 with 150 kgs

D. Leg press machine with 4 secs eccentric 4 x 10 with 120 kgs

E1. Power shrugs 2 or 3 x 6 with 180 kgs, 2 x 6 with 200 kgs

E2. Reverse pec dec rear delts 0203 tempo 3 or 4 x 12 with 15 kgs, 1 x 10 with 20 kgs

F. Calves on leg press 1 x 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 clusters with 120 kgs

Super long, tough but great session. Rushed a bit too much the zerchers and on the first rep at 130 I went down too fast and was a bit wobbly but nothing too bad. My biceps are super sore lol. Not sure about depth but it was around parallel. I’ll film next time. Never want to go too down because sometimes my elbow get into my legs.

The deads felt sooooe asy at 140 so I bumped up. Wasn’t too hard either. Tried to get down by stretching/engaging the hammies as much as possible, then drop my hips for the leg drive and pulling the slack just before doing the lift. Think I did good, I have really great glutes and quad soreness today.

I really was proud of me for my leg press. i really pushed myself really hard, beyond what I thought I could do. I was also way more explosive on the way up and it helped

Went bananas on the shrugs. I lost count of sets because of the dopamine/fatigue induced by the weight. Looked at the program and saw no shrugs next week so I decided to go crazy and use 200kgs. I have great soreness as well today lol. Really didn’t think I could do it, and I was doing each rep with a 2 secs hold at the top. First time I bend the bar like that lol

Calves were a bit too light

I mean, happy that I got stronger despite eall the insanity this weekend. With everything dialed up soon, no doubts I’ll crush it

Ahahah some girl used all the other 20s to do KB sumo squat/deadlift thing and yeah we have like 15 tens and as much fivers

@dagill2 it opened only 2 months ago so everything is new. Plus they clean all the time because if the virus!

Even if people use chalk, there should be no signs of it. That’s just laziness.

Since I’ve always been in commercial gyms, I use liquid chalk, and honestly I had better results with it (granted I probably only tried low quality chalk)

I have never heard of this, but now I will try it
