Anyone remember the raw water thing from a few years back? I was actually in SF at the time and it was just as stupid as you imagine.

Yeah, it is stupid all right. Ever since I first read about people contracting those brain eating amoebas from freshwater bodies of water, yeah, Iāve been pretty wary of any so-called freshwater (yes, I know it has to go up your nose, but the thought that something so horrific even exists in something so seemingly innocuous as a damn lake, terrifying). That and in 8th grade science class Iāve looked at water from a river nearby our school under a microscope. The main thing I remember was all of the āmovementā when looking at the slides. No thanks.
Also, if I come to your house, donāt offer me water and then hand me tap water. You might as well have just handed me a dead rat or something.
