I do find it troubling that his actions were part and parcel of what may have been, at least part, of the cause of such atrocities.

No of course Olly didn’t put all the money in his pocket. There were people higher up than him who probably took a grater share. Such as William Barr and Bush Sr. Clinton was also heavily involved as he was the govenor of Arkansaw at the time. His state was used to help ship weapons illegally to Nicuragua and then to unload drugs on the return. Especially Mena! Many people made a fantastic profit in this so-called “war”. It was rarely heard about in the paper as the corporate media is there to cover-up for the politicians. And if a paper would persist, pressure is put on it to close it down. That is what happened to the Arkansaw Gazette. They kept featuring stories from citizens saying that drugs were being transhipped through their state. Low flying planes at night, people disappearing and eventual talk around town among other things.
