The recent events in Moore, OK (for reference Westboro Baptist church-Ran out of Moore,Oklahoma - YouTube) got me wondering about effective/legal ways of dispersing the vipers that are the Westboro Baptist picketers. Notably, I was wondering if there are any significant legal ramifications to giving them a 21 gun salute with ice-water filled Supersoakers.

I am not sure, the motorcyclists are homosexual and the people across the street are obviously the Phelps crowd? the near to the camera crowd are the pro rights people?
I am straight myself, but tend to be supportive of peoples’ rights, and don’t judge homosexuals as a group.

Protect yourself at all times, but don’t stoop to their level. Hating them makes you no better than they are. They aren’t worth your effort to hate.
I don’t see why people have a problem with WBC. Not everyone has time to exercise their first amendment rights so its reassuring to see others do it just so you know its still there.

Problem is, the WBC is their higher ranks are comprised extensively of VERY good lawyers. They know all the ins and outs of the law, they’re almost untouchable. Anything retalitory agaisnt them gets often settled in court, with the WBC often winning.
I wonder what the reaction would be if they had signs saying ‘God hates Harleys’?

Bingo. The Phelps family doesn’t believe this shit. He just made it up so he can fuck a bunch of too young girls “wives” and have people make him money by suing others. They live on people showing up and lashing out. They catch it on camera then sue them. If nothing happens to them in the first 20 mins they pack up and leave. But, everyone hates WBC so they show up and this shit just goes on and on.
