Sounds like there’s plenty of scum left to shoot out there.

“Whoa fuck…” That’s what I said when I finally got it. Kind of felt like something out of the ring. Hehe.

Heheh. Got it. If you’re big into comics think of the comic Shi and you might see what’s wrong with it. How’s that for obscure?

You’re in Winnipeg pimpbot?
No sir, Oakville Ontario. I’m headed to Winnipeg next week for work, and plan to absolutely murder the fuck out of one of those Nardpuncher sandwiches!
I’m also from Oakville. May I inquire as to where you lift? My membership at my university gym is about to expire soon. I used to go to Revolution but I hear its a health club now, which really grinds my gears.

I used to lift at Goodlife on Dorval, but am now at ONE Healthclub (formerly Revolution Fitness)

Honestly I’m pretty impressed with it. They’re still in the midst of renovations, but these are mostly to the entrance. The equipment is decent - two squat racks, an olympic platform, bumper plates, dumbells up to 130 lbs I believe, several benches, etc - and the membership fees aren’t bad. The free-weight area is rarely very busy…another plus.

I get the distinct impression that the sales staff there is very much “under the gun” to recruit more and more new members, so you should be able to talk them down if you decide to join.

If you get this, you’re awesome…

Interesting. To be honest, I haven’t been there in a while and when my buddies told me it changed to ONE Health Club, the name itself put me off. I haven’t actually been inside. But if a fellow T-Nationer recommends it, then I will give it a look. Has the equipment been upgraded since the Revolution days?

I’m totally awesome.

Wonder what it would be like to play it now.
