In terms of physicality Fedor is completely outmatched…in terms of skill, Fedor is definitely without rival, but I do believe it would simply not be a fair fight, Fedor isnt heavy enough to fight a tank like Pud, no matter how new and unskilled.
Marius is about 290 very very lean, and Fedor is a chubby 230.
There is no chance of Marius being able to cut enough weight to get to 265, there is no fat to cut…
Fedor would have to either gain to fight him, which is pointless, hes not lean now, and would only slow him down, or he would simply have to fight him 290 versus 230.
As they both are at this exact moment, it would be an interesting fight, but not a good one, Pud is too fresh to fight Fedor.
People only know about his 5 time WSM records, but hes been an elite powerlifter and strength athlete for decades, hes the world’s most impressive and dominating athlete to date.

And its difficult to choke him out, his neck is so large and the muscles are so thick, he could flex his neck and prevent a hold. Simply shrugging his huge shoulders and traps would completely seal off his neck.

Ive seen a picture of a guy trying to do an arm bar on him, he stood up with him, his arm is too strong to stretch out straight, hes used to doing atlas holds and the like, he can handle 400-500+ pounds per hand with ease.
The fight could go either way, Fedor could EASILY win it, but would HAVE to slip a choke in quickly before Pud could turtle up. Or more likely he would HAVE to go for something small and weak, a joint lock, ankle, wrist, knee.
No matter how powerful you are, the joints and still joints. It would be difficult to get a lock on him, as he is quite agile, but doable.
Its a baseless discussion they would not have Fedor fight Pud this soon, or perhaps ever, weight differences.

Sure, there are examples of grizzlies that have been tamed with success and have even starred in movies, tv-series’ and circuses but generally speaking, segregation of people and beasts is proper
and necessary because having such animals living among humans would require enormous spending to protect humans (increased police, jailing, need for weapons and related technology among citizens etc.) as well the often futile attempt to tame (special education) the furry ‘friends’ to the extent that they don’t cause trouble (see WolBarret’s avatar for example of futile education).
