You know we are discussing this on G+ and personally I dont see the reason to bang on the guy. He is almost 50 years old and only picked up lifting heavy in the last few years. We bang on guys who dont lift heavy but when they start to we expect them to lift 6 wheels and go full house. sorry end rant I just see this as nit picking

You misunderstand. I think what Jackman does in the gym is awesome.

It’s the article title and write up that crack me up.

I honestly think this is a great thing, the guy is a few years older than me and he is in never never land. To lift heavy and show it on film is awesome. Now guys will jump on his leg development but who knows he may have put some size on his legs the last few years.

Ya, I remember the deadlift pic from a few years ago where his legs looked pretty small, but whatever. I’m with you. I think “Wolverine” deadlifting is great for young men to see.

Maybe it will swing back to like it was in the 80’s where the action hero’s looked like they lifted.

One can only hope.

I actually think this one of the reasons Crossfit is a good thing.

I’ve always felt like leg pics that don’t show the full leg can be pretty misleading sometimes. I remember seeing a pretty legit bodybuilder who took a picture wearing shorts just above the knee, and it looked like he didn’t even do legs. Just a terrible photo angle. Then in the next picture that showed his whole leg, he looked like a god damn horse. Not saying this necessarily applies to Jackman, but I bet his legs look decent enough. I know I have small calves, so if I’m wearing shorts that cover the knee, I don’t look like I do legs at all.

My quads start about 5 inches above the knee. No biggy.
I remember one of the photos of Jackman deadlifting was photoshopped to make them look smaller. Some people have some weird hobbies.

Ya, totally agree. One of the pics Amit posted, I think in his Micro-Pa log, from the powerlifting meet he and his wife did kinda made his arms look small (for him anyway). Off course he is fucking huge and subsequent pics/videos show it. Pictures are a funny thing.

Top right picture @ 4:16 is what I’m referring too.

I literally felt queasy the entire time I watched that.

I’ve been to china, I’ve seen the crap they built first hand. Not only no, but hell know, I wouldn’t climb through that thing if it was on solid ground.
