Don’t they have a “no deadlift” rule there? And they serve pizza? (one negative balanced out with a HUGE plus)
Also, clean up you’re room! it’s even worse than mine
Dexter Morgan replies “yes dad”
Then unreal24278 as the years go by finds out Dexter has psychopathic tendencies stemming from his past… having seen his mother brutally murdered with a chainsaw… Dad teaches him how to use those tendencies for “the greater good”… one day, Dexter acts upon his desires and shows his father (unreal24278), in response Dexters father kills himself (there was more… I only got up to like season 3)
They basically have a no working out rule. You can sit next to the weights or walk on a treadmill. Other than that you’ll have a siren going off in your face. My last gym was $250/month in the penthouse of a skyscraper in NYC. My current planet fitness membership is $10/month so I can’t bitch too much.
Im very fortunate regarding the fitness.
Where I live now when I step outside of the building there are two gyms in front and one of them is free for me. I go there not because it is free but because there are less people, the gym is less fancy. This works great because I can wake up 7 oclock(I usually wake up 5-6 and roll in bed until 7 but this is another story), go workout 7.30 until 8.30 and then manage to go to work at 9.30
Lying in bed with a cold, so plenty of time to kill.
Danny, I watched your excellent video with Dr Mark Gordon.
If you are in contact with him could you maybe ask two follow up questions?
Dr Gordon targets the median freeT range and states that when symptoms are not resolved its mainly due to the lack other hormones such as DHEA, prenenolone or allopregnenolone or the ‘burn out’ of enzymes responsible for the convesion of eg preg to allopreg due to too high T doses.
In the testicles steroid hormone synthesis upstream to testosterone is decribed to be not dependent on LH stimulation. This is in contrast to the situation in the brain where the synthesis of the so called neurosteroids seems to be - at least to a certain degree - dependent on LH.
Question to Dr Gordon: Can hCG replace the function of LH with regards to the stimulation of synthesis of these neurosteroids, eg pregnolone or allopregnenolone? If yes, to the extent that there is no need to supplement DHEA or pregnenolone?
The data on whether hCG can cross the blood brain barrier is controversial and it would be very interesting to know if he has clinical experience with using hCG for this purpose.
It was interesting to hear him talk about the approach he is taking using micronutrients when thyroid hormones are out of balance under LT4 treatment in particular when rT3 is elevated. He did not mention T3 treatment which makes sense.
Question to Dr Gordon: What is your opinion on T3 only treatment for hypothyroidism in general and for the purpose to bring down elevated levels of rT3, respectively?
@johann77 we speak from time to time. There are a few things he brought up in that interview that struck me as odd so I wanted to setup another talk to challenge him on a few of his positions. I can take note of your questions and ask. Hoping to do something over the course of the next month.
WhAt? Weren’t you recently on cycle? Or aren’t you on cycle?
Alcohol is one of the harsher substances one can put in their body comparative to even most illicit substances of recreation. Binge drinking 4x weekly is extremely unhealthy, bordering on what one could consider “substance abuse disorder”… After Europe (I did exactly this in Europe… perhaps even more than 4 nights per week, my alcohol tolerance is and has always been insane… and I don’t get particularly hung over either, so I’d go to bars and drink… drink and drink with other kids my age… there were sometimes other things involved but I’m not going into that… Jesus Christ it went WAY too far, did some very uncharacteristic things…)… towards the end my skin was turning yellow (hepatotoxicity), my LFT’s, biribulin were elevated TWO WEEKS after coming back (AST/ALT about 2x top of ref range… don’t be me, don’t do these stupid things… Everything came back not only normal… optimal a week after that test, and somehow my lipids were/are the best they’ve ever been… This was after only about 3-4 weeks of drinking… don’t know many other substances that can induce comparable amounts of damage so quickly (cocaine/crack, methamphetamine are probably the two that can)
Stopped drinking entirely when I got back, though on my birthday I had two beers… Prior to Europe I hadn’t drank in like… six months… for the exact reason that I’m prone to abusing it (interestingly I only have this issue with booze, with things like cannabis I appear to be able to self moderate… though I’m ceasing to use cannabis for a while now too, makes me demotivated for a day or two post use, makes me go full Otto the bus driver the day following too)
In my opinion, aside from very special occasions… stay away from booze (in terms of using within a recreational context)
@unreal24278
I’ve done nothing but TRT besides winstrol the first month of TRT which was a big mistake and didn’t gain anything from it except a month of feeling like total hell (first attempt at TRT). I did a Test cycle and an EQ cycle over ten years ago when I had zero knowledge of working out much less juice. Lost everything right after and made myself fearful of steroids for forever. It’s one reason I haven’t touched anything since. That’ll change eventually. I’ll likely do something like Anavar added to my TRT around summer time.
I’m lucky that even winstrol didn’t change my ALT/AST much at all. Yes drinking isn’t ideal but I just moved back home to New Orleans to be around my very large family and they go hard. I’m definitely not into it but it’s been fun while it lasted. New Orleans is a different world from the rest of the country. I’ve spent the last 10 years in NYC running a successful real estate agency that took every ounce of my time and woke up one day and decided it isn’t the life I want anymore. The past six months has been about having fun but I’ve got it out of my system and I’m done with it. I start a new career here in the next few weeks so I couldn’t even if I wanted to.
No I wasn’t flexing. I took that to see how I looked normally to compare in the future. Had I planned to post one on here I likely would have. I almost didn’t post it but figured it would help to make me extra motivated to post a better picture in a couple months.
Yeah Planet Fitness is the absolute worst gym for anyone that has a gym membership and actually goes. Only dumbells up to 75 lbs (some PF’s only go up to 50 lbs) and Smith machines. No bench or barbell stuff. Of course there’s a bunch of shitty cable machines and cardio for ladies. The good thing is you’re almost always guaranteed to be the most jacked guy there so that’s a plus.
My wife and I just started training again in our home gym in September. We bought the house in May and had a baby same month. Then I converted the garage into a home gym which took some time. By September it had been an entire year without training. We both got into it a bit too hard and fast and I had some major tendinitis in both arms and shoulders by November. Had to take almost two months off. Now we’ve been back at it for a few weeks. We just eat healthy… I miss a lot of meals… no diet strategy at all.
I turned 36 in October and I’m 5’9 @ 187 lbs. I hope I look as good as you in 10 years.
Your wife just had a baby and looks like that? Does she have any single sisters? That’s some good genes right there. She looks like she’s mid 30’s. I’m going to start calling you Mr McConaughey. “I get older. They stay the same age… Yes they do.”
My wife was Instagram ready 5 weeks after giving birth. It was insane. I can PM you a photo of what she looked like 5 weeks later on FB and your jaw will drop. Good genes for sure. I’ll be 46 next week and she will be 37 in April. She looks 22 lol! She still gets asked for ID when she buys booze. When we walk around in public, people stare at us because they think I’m a pedophile LMAO!
