Dark Knight Sequel Confirmed

I absolutely loved the Dark Knight but I think anymore movies are gonna be fucked. FFS we lost the Joker and Two Face in the last movie. Those 2 right there are/were some of the best villains in the Batman series. I think the Riddler would be good but the similarities between him and the Joker are too close to have him in a movie right after the last one. The same could be said for Quinn. So in the long run I think the 4th movie onwards have quite a few choices but the 3rd has limited choices just so it can be different from the 2nd. At least this is just my opinion. Nolan is phenomenal so no matter what he has planned I’m sure he can pull it off well.

Oh I’m surprised nobody said Cat Woman. Granted Michelle Pfeifer was an awesome Cat Woman but I think most people are still bummed about the bad taste Berry left after that ghastly performance. Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze could be interesting choices provided they aren’t done all supernaturally and cartoony.

There’s plenty of choices. I mean Bane, Clayface, Penguin, along with Poison Ivy, Catwoman, and Mr. Freeze all offer some good options.

It would be cool if they focused on how superman chose to be the greatest superhero instead of taking over the world. Here you have the most powerful being on the planet and you decide to become a nerdy journalist and defend the weak. The guy could be living in complete luxury, but due to his upbringing he chooses a life of hardship. The guy could be the greatest athlete of all time and be adored by millions, but he chooses to keep it secret. I bet 99.9% of the population wouldn’t choose to be a superhero if they had his abilities, but he does. Why?

Nolan said he won’t use characters that can’t be done realistically. That’s why there was no lazerous pit in the first film. The Asian arms dealer was supposed to be the Penguin but Nolan pulled the idea because he thought the Penguin was to cartoony. So that leaves out Ivy, Freeze firefly, etc… He aslo said he wanted to se characters that haven’t been used before.

Superman fans would through a shit fit. He chooses not to because A. he grew up human B. When he finds out he is different he gets the message from his dad telling him to be a hero. He’s only a nerdy journalist because he needs it as a cover.

You can still be super rich and fight crime, Batman does it.

Killer Croc is actually MORE realistic than most with the single thing being how extrreme they make him look on most cartoons.

Epidermolytic hyperkeratosis is a real skin disease which in extreme cases causes the skin to look like scales. That is what Killer Croc has. He filed his own teeth to points on his own and built himself up to huge proportions.

If they forget trying to make him just like a crocodile, it could easily be grounded in reality.[/quote]

I thought that big, tat’d and scarred guy that took the remote from the warden in Dark Knight was supposed to be Killer Croc (check the dragon tat)?

Yeah he does it because he wants to save people from what he went through, he’d just be some rich jack ass or Tony Stark if that wasn’t the case.
