Don’t you think its strange that Bats decides to hook up with Cat-woman. I mean sure she has a nice ass and all, but I think there personalities clash a bit. Maybe he just smashing it for the short-term.

Would you rather he’d hooked up with the cobra commander?

I saw it again and noticed in one wide shot of Gotham they CG’ed in the monorail from the first movie.

Also, when Bane kicks Batman off that gangway and then he descends using a chain you see hsi arms are massive, and that it couldn’t have been Tom Hardy, but a stunt double.

Yeah, that was one of the best ‘oh my god I fucking love Bane’ scenes.
Seriously felt as though the worst part of the movie, by far, was Talia. Completely undermined the awesomeness that was Bane.

“You do not fear death, and because of that you cannot escape this pit. You must learn to fear death to harness that strength to escape.”

And Bruce Wayne, who had not feared death, found a will to live. be it gotham, alfred, catwoman’s ass, you decide.

and that is why he used the auto-pilot.

No, not really. I read heaps of Superman, X-men, Wolverine and even a bit of Nightwing, but for some reason I could never get into Batman in comics. Not sure why.

He just has a natural aversion to cats.

Learning to fear death was also key in defeating Bane. In the first confrontation, part of Wayne wanted the release that death would bring. There wasn’t enough fight in him then.

As Bruce Wayne, he really had nothing to live for until he escaped from the (Lazarus) pit. The renewed lust for life gave him something to live for beyond Batman, and the ‘clean slate’ program gave him an out.

He saw Selina Kyle as a kindred spirit. They were both trapped in lives that they were trying to escape.

Plus he has had back luck in love, one gets blow up the other he had to kill. He needed a woman that could hang.

Good point. Wayne wouldn’t have had to fret over her safety. The Joker wouldn’t have been able to throw Kyle out of a window…

And did you see how high she could get her leg, when she had that guy pinned against the wall.

Batman has bad knees, he needs someone with mobility.

Don’t we all?

Movie was decent…for the most part.

-Bane’s voice was kind of retarded.
-I got tired of Alfred telling Batman to get a family and a happy life.
-The hand to hand fighting could have been a little better. Batman is supposed to be very very good at this stuff. In the movie he just did alot of duking and slugging, nothing really polished, and he growled and made a bunch of noise. Nonsensical.

That and i had recently watched a couple of Micheal Jai White films. “Blood and Bone” had very legit, honest, smart fight scenes in it.

^ That was a pretty cool fight scene. Nice and tight showing both guys knew what they were doing so either one was unable to just go into it whailing around.

Does anyone know how old MJWhite is now? Guys a fuckign beast…would be a perfect black panther

By this third movie, Bats is way past his prime, hasn’t trained for seven years and has no cartilage in his knees according to his Dr.
None of the fights were meant to be show-stoppers. Sure, it would’ve been nice to see Batman kick ass more conclusively, but from Batman Begins onwards, the whole point was to show how fighting a nightly war on crime would take its toll on a highly skilled, but mortal man (most of his fights in Begins revolve around guerilla tactics and hidden advantages which is about as real as you can get).

The Batsuit is bulkier than ever to reflect the fragility of the wearer. He moves differently and relies more on technology until he is stripped of it and is thrown into the pit.

This it was also implied that a trained batman would have kicked Bane’s ass, which he does later in the movie.

One thing I laughed at was the part when Catwoman disappeared as Batman had his back turned. Batman then says, “So that’s what it feels like.” And even though he was all alone on the rooftop he still said it in his Batman voice. LOL.[/quote]

I chuckled when Bane took the mic at the stadium. Talk about overkil…

Seems like a lot of people over hyped the film and forgot that it was, after all, just a movie. Remember back when they were filming it? There were like daily updates on various blogs with production pictures of what turned out to be the biggest scenes in the film. It’s been said before since the film came out but expectation were set way too high. And the thing is, every fan had established and accumulated images of how they thought the film should look like (i.e. some wanted Bane to look like a guy from WSM, etc)

You can’t just force a masterpiece - no one knew the Dark Knight would turn out the way it did when it first came out. I’m not saying TDKR isn’t a masterpiece but I don’t think it turned out as good as people were hoping it would turn out. And that’s probably our fault.

Batman uses Keysi Fighting Method which looks simple and unpolished to the untrained eye, in comparison to the more extragavant styles in “Blood and Bone”. In the first fight I thought his moved were very good for a guy going in untrained against a stronger opponent.

I found the movie to be very good. I avoided spoilers as far as I could, and do not regret that.
