Brain and nerve cells do replicate. just very very slowly.

True, they do grow but not fast enough to make a difference b/c of the amount of cells dying. I’ve heard of scientist using HGH for cell growth, but I’m not sure of the effectiveness.[/quote]

I think the brain may be more resilient than we give it credit for.

I wonder how much money we spent winning and dinning him for seven years?

And Charles Manson still sits in our CA jails getting dental. medical and 3 squares a day on us…

I’d bet 1/2 the guys here don’t even know the name.

“Death Row” should be renamed.

Yea, I think the kid was the driver. I forgot what he got charged with, or if he got off completely.

He was sentenced to multiple life sentences without possibility of parole.

He’s Dead

From some of the guards I spoke with, it cost over 100k to house and secure someone on death row. Most of it is on security. Apparently, people in such high confinement still get messed with. At FCI Victorville, the shoe bomber was assaulted in solitary, the guys delivering his food went after him.

I heard it’s more expensive (somehow) when all is said and done with executing someone, rather than keeping them behind bars for life.

I can’t imagine how though. Something to do with all of the appeals they get, but still.

One more for Virginia!

I do believe that with all the appeals and whatnot it costs upwards of 2.4 million to execute someone. But it just costs $60 something a day to house them.

I could have saved the people of america a bunch of money and simply used him as a target at the rifle range . . . . it would have been fitting . . .
