Cyclonengineer’s Engineering New Muscle

Thanks? Haha I’m 6’8" and over 300. Unfortunately, a good 30 lbs of that is fat I need to lose. Even my goal weight of 280 is higher than that 252 g, so you can see why I’ve been hesitant to try the velocity diet.

Ah, I would not call 30ish gram way under personally. Minorly so

Agree with this. I’m not quite that big but I’m 6’5+ and started my cut at 284 in the end of Feb. I don’t track macros because it doesn’t do good things for me mentally but the number of days that I’ve eaten 290 grams of protein is fewer than half and I’m retaining strength and muscle despite losing 20+ lbs. I’d guess 200 is where I top out most days.

Body fat doesn’t really need protein, I think the 1gm per lb of lean mass is going to serve 99% of people just fine.

Yeah, come to think of it, the HSM should even cover the difference there.

I’m trying to learn double unders consistently, which are really hard for me. But, I do love jumping rope. It’s like being transported back to childhood. Plus, it’s a killer workout.

Still being selective on exercise as my thumb is not healed and I don’t wan to test it open.

Low back pain was quite bad this morning but dulled a little as the day went on. Still to painful to lift with it so:

25 minute yoga practice with a focus on the lower back.
