Cycle After Motorcycle Crash

A good friend of mine recently had to have his spleen removed due to a motorcycle accident. After he is done recovering he is considering a cycle to help him regain his former size and strength. So my question is would not having a spleen be a cause for concern while on a cycle?

Jyst keep an eye on blood pressure. That’s a general on cycle rule even moreso if you don’t have a spleen

I have no idea what the spleen does so I can not answer that particular question. However, I had a similar accident that stripped me down to nothing. I lost like 40 pounds and was miserable.

I had been off all steroids for 8 years when this happened. I did not shun steroids because of some moral stand but just because I used to compete and I was pretty happy where my body was and did not think I needed to take it any further at the time. But after I came home from the hospital I ordered some stuff right away. There was no way I was going to try and get back 40 pounds natural, talk about depression. That was April 11th I was about 155 pounds on that day.

Today I am about 190 and my BF is lower, in 6 weeks. The only real problem I am having is cramps during training. I do not know if they are just really good pumps or cramps but they sometimes become debilitating. Anyway, I would tell your friend to go for it. But why not just ask his Dr. about any possible affect on the spleen?

i have re-read that a few times and am still not sure if i am understanding you right - you have gone from 155lbs to 190lbs since the 11th of April 2008.

If that is correct that is one hell of a weight gain. I would consider having blood pressure, vitals and bloodwork taken as a sudden increase of weight like that will not be liked by a healthy body.
