Hi guys. Haven’t been here in awhile. Want to hear some opinions. I took T-3 and was on a little longer than I intended. It was careless on my part. I’ve been at 25mcg for the past 2 weeks and 12.5mcg for a day. The highest I went was up to was 75mcg. So I guess it’s been about 8 weeks. Am I wasting my time taking 12.5mcg to get things going again? I need some opinions on getting my thyroid back in action. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Stupid comments, and the fact that I shouldn’t have f-ed with T-3 in the first place really aren’t going to help much, nor be very constructive. So, please don’t reply unless you really have some good advice. I’ve been on this board for quite a few years so I know damn well my question is a valid one. thank you to all that help in this situation

come on…anything? Is the 12.5mcg doing more harm than good.
I talked with Bill Roberts once and he said you could 12.5 for long periods of time with no problems. It would just aid with fat loss. He was at the first seminar t-mag had.

r100- I have taken t3 for a long period of time about 8-10wks and the highest I went up to was 125mcgs. Once I got off I took E/C/A stack for two weeks to gradually tapering off that dose for no other reason than having that warm feeling (stupid reasoning but whatever). You should be fine, and anyone that tells you otherwise is simply going on hear say. I have read studies where people have taken constant doses (no tapering, they just stopped) for longer than us (I’m talking months), and their thyroid bounced back in a few weeks. So if you have any adverse side effects I would be surprised. Just make sure you keep your diet in check or you will gain alot back. Hope this helps
thanks t. That helps a bit…so at least I’m not causing furthur suppression at that dose. That’s a good thing. I honestly want to stay on a bit longer. Bromcocriptine and T3 at 25mcg has helped me drop almost 20 pounds and 2 inches off my waist in about 3-4 weeks. I am amazed to say the least.

I’m currently on my second weeks of T-3. I’m at 25mg working up to a maximun of 50 and then I’ll taper back down. My paln is to use for 4 weeks total. My question is how has the T-3 affected you other than the fat loss? Strength loss? LBM loss? Were you on anything else? I’m concurrently using Mag10 to hold onto LBM and so far so good. Scale weight is down 5 pounds but strength is still there. How long did it take you to see visual results?
typical duration is about 6 weeks. ramping up to no more then 100mcg and then ramping back down by week 6. i like to start at 25mcg(1 tab) adding a tab E3D. adding clen and eca stacks works nicely as well.
r100- true you should be fine but I wouldnt recommend staying on any longer than you already have. Better to be safe than sorry you know? Wait another 4 wks and then you should be good to go again
