Customs Questions/Experiences

Hey, just a couple questions regarding customs and seizures:

  1. If you shipment is seized, they usually let you know and destroy it, correct? If it is just a small shipment, they wouldn’t press charges would they?

  2. Is using a PO Box any safer, or does that just raise red flags right away?

Any info would be helpful, any pertaining specifically to Canada would be better. Thanks!

  1. ive had a shipment seized (small shipment) and absolutely nothing happened.

  2. I wouldn’t say they were any safer, but no, a p.o. box does not raise a red flag

Any other comments on the subject?

I always thought if you weren’t in a hurry to start then let the shit sit in your P.O box for like a month. Who the hell is going to steakout a mailbox for a month?

Get to know your regular mailman before you order and for any reason if one day a substitute tries to deliver you a package with required signature for god sakes don’t sign.

I’m not sure but I’d assume they only chase the big fish(and orders) with controlled deliveries and search warrants but who knows.

Just my ideas.

If they do sieze it and Canada Customs sends documentation that it was seized, quite often if you send that proof to your foreign source, they will resend the shipment to a different addy.

I am in the same boat right now waiting for a shipment. Hard to find a good UG source here in Canada.

You guys really need to take a look at paper or stealth AASs if you are worried about customs.

In more urban areas this will not work. We have different mailmen here every day.

  1. US customs can send a customs letter or they can decided to raid your place.
  2. PO box can be safe by giving you some time if you see the package has been siezed.
