Great job! Thanks for sharing the vids. So is there a rulebook you consult before you enter one of these virtual meets? Is there a specified camera placement for the various lifts? Regarding rules, for example, you bench on your toes. My lifting fed requires flat feet with no movement. I can’t believe you do these meets with no spotter. Doing your own liftoff in bench takes a lot of energy! Really cool to watch.
But what would be the benefit of being on the balls of one’s feet? Doesn’t seem like you’d get the same leg drive. Of course, I’ve never tried it . . .

All whites from this Judge. Great lifting. I really liked your lift selection and squat depth.
Thanks Jack. I picked weights that I was sure I could get based on training poundages and skipped attempts where I knew I couldn’t get any more. Saved energy and I’m feeling pretty good today rather than beat up.
I butt-winked the third squat attempt, but that seems to work for me pretty well
Geez - you and kpsnap get up early on Saturdays. Way too early.

For me, it enables me to keep my arch better and so shortens my bar path. If I go flat feet I tend to flatten out along the torso. You’re right though, you get better leg drive off of flat feet. I do, anyway.
Nice job Tony. I really admire your pulls and squats.
Good form on the bench and in striking distance of 300. Gaining weight will put you over the top.

I gots things to do!
Yes, I was really impressed by the weight selection. No guessing and you didn’t leave much if anything on the table. My next question was going to be how you felt, because after missing my third on each lift of my first meet I felt really beat up. That was a very well thought out meet, I learned a lot from watching it.
I think your bench “sucks” only because you don’t seem to work on it as much as you do your militaries, because your military #s are definitely above average.
That, and considering you had no liftoff, you shifted your feet and lost (more) tightness, means the strength you displayed muscling up (imprssive btw) that 265 definitely should equate to “better” bench #s.

Wanted to train today but felt depleted still from the meet. Stopped before maxes (mostly). Gotta get used to sumos again. First pulls sucked, but third set’s reps were fast.

Great lifting Tony! It was really cool watching you gut it out. BTW, Did you get that ice cream?
unfortunately, I did not.
