just got back from my honeymoon in cancun, went to la casa del habana and picked up a cohiba siglo VI. very very nice cigar.
as far as the superiority of cubans, i think it has become more a preference rather than cuba being the superior tobacco growing country. however, cuban soil is different because of volcanic ash and makes for a different tasting tobacco.
partagas limited reserve is a great great dominican cigar that you can buy here (if you can find them) and i would smoke that any day!
