Remember when the fat kid in class to suddenly skip class or feel sick as soon as the words “cross country” where mentioned. Well now he might be able to sue!
I say we stop kids playing any sort of sport now, just so we can avoid any sort of litigation.
I hated cross country running in School, i prefered being in the school gym, but i still did it.
Well I remember school “sports” being a distinct waste of time. No-one was ever given any instruction on how to play any of the sports. Every winter was running about after a football once a week, then in autumn it was the same with a rugby ball.
Then come summer it was “athletics” whereby we were suddenly presented with a discus and a javelin and all took it in turns to try and injure someone. I also vaguely remember playing cricket and tennis at some point.
My only memory of the P.E. teacher was a bloke with a cup of tea wearing three jackets in midwinter while we all stood around shivering.
I’m not suprised that fatty wants to opt out and sue now to be honest.
