Criteria for starting

What made you feel you wanted to start?

What were the metrics at the beginning that you wanted to surpass?

When you felt you were ready, what were your goals to hit, how old were you, and what were you trying to make yourself into a final product?

Who is your body for, what research did you do, what fears and doubts do you have or would like to pass on?

I think veterans should add what they think.

I didn’t want to. No more than I wanted to take my blood pressure meds. I had a secondary hypo diagnoses. I was feeling fatigued a lot and I looked very soft / young for my age.

I was hoping for more energy and better mood.

The doc said I was ready. This isn’t a choice medication like PED use. I was 34, I was constantly confused for a teenager. I was hoping the final product would give me energy, increase my mood, and possibly bring my into a second or full puberty.

I joined several forums and learned the ins and outs. The late Dr Crislers forum was very helpful as was Tnation although there was a lot of bad information at the time especially about dosage and AI use.

TRT is not a choice or lifestyle. It’s a medication. If you don’t need it you will get very little benefit. I’ve seen several friends get scripted through clinics that had no place being on TRT. Not one of them stayed on it or saw a transformation. Myself and one other that were both legit candidates, very low below range, saw great improvements. Except libido. Never a problem for me before and now it wanes from time to time.

When my wife started to notice.

I went this route because I didn’t have a primary doc and didn’t want to try and get one, then try and get a referral. After doing everything right two years ago, I saw very little physical improvement. Found out it was because my FT was lower than a 70 year old man’s.
