How come there isn’t a hamburger equivalent of the “Pogo Dog”? Or maybe I just don’t attend the right State Fairs?
In which case, the proper way to prepare a Cadbury’s Creme Egg is to deep fry it, with or without a stick of butter.

Or, put the other way, a Pogo Dog is just a beef wellington in a different income class.
EDIT: Wait, 6g of protein per dog? That’s as much as …one egg. You have to go out of your way to have a meat based product with so little protein.

Pogo Dogs aren’t really made with puff pastry. Unless you sort of crossed it with a sponge.
White Castle isn’t a thing in Canada. Aren’t they known for burgers essentially boiled in onion, and ordered in quantity since they are the size of a few postage stamps? Could be a Pogo equivalent, but don’t know what the buns are like.
We don’t have them in my region either. First time I had them was in Texas. We had to order like 30 of them. I thought they were entirely unremarkable, and was kind of puzzled as to why anybody likes them.

I could be wrong. That was 30 years ago in my completely f*cking insane days. Just north of DFW in Azele.
Drugs were definitely involved. So it could have been a pizza shop that just really wanted us to leave for all I know! .
