Is it pure creatine monohydrate? or a mix of a ton of sugar and stuff made by a certain company.
If it is just pure monohydrate, like the stuff sold here, then make sure you’re mixing it in your protein drink or meal or anything that
also contains one or more insulinogenic ingredients, such as essential amino acids, branched-chain amino acids, whey isolate, or grape juice.
But creatine by itself shouldn’t be making you sick.

I feel awful after taking creatine monohydrate. My stomach gets upset, I don’t feel well, and I can shit through a screen door with in 6 hours. I would say that I suffer through low grade nausea for 2-3 hours after taking any more than a level teaspoon full.
I’ve found splitting creatine up throughout the day helps as does staying hydrated. The less water I’ve had during the day, the worse I feel when I finally take creatine.
so is hydration a big thing with it should i be taking on water after taking it ?
a teaspoon ? im taking a 26g scoop maybe thats too much in a sitting

Hydration is very important with creatine supplementation. I take a teaspoon (approx 5g) at a time. 25g at once would have me pissing out of my ass for a week.

This is absolutely the problem. The “standard” dose for creatine monohydrate is 5 grams at a time.
What’s the name of the brand you’re using? (Not a link to it, just the name.) I find it hard to believe that it’s only straight creatine, with no extras like Rocky mentioned, and they’re recommending 26 grams per serving.
5-10g a day, in 5 gram doses. 26g is way too much.

Good lord that’s way unnecessary. Well that’s likely your problem. Take the 5 grams that’s recommended and read this article
lol I went bac and read it and it says on it to only take one to two servings (5g) a day. thats what I get for scanning something and not tkaing it all in.
ill get a look at that article now
many thanks guys
I cant take creatine either, it makes me feel the exact same way. I have tried many different brands and it all makes me feel like shit. I stay away from it.
