Creatine Question

Two actually:

During my workout I drink half a serving of Surge. Right after my workout I drink the other half serving of Surge with a scoop of Creatine mixed in.

The directions say I should have one scoop of Creatine with 16 fl oz of water but I’m only taking in about 8 fl oz of water with my creatine as it is mixed in with my half serving of Surge.

Is this okay?

Thanks in advance all.

Yes, that should be fine. Remember directions aren’t set in stone and often times are there for people who absolutely need someone or something to tell them step by step what to do or extreme newbies.

The thought of someone measuring exactly sixteen ounces of water to swallow some creatine or say TRIBEX tablets kind of makes me chuckle. Just use enough liquid to get the job done.

I have come across people who put in more time thinking there is secret formula in taking a product then just taking it and focusing on nutrition and exercise to get the most out of the product.

Take care,

You should hawever remember to stay well hydrated in general and even moreso when taking creatine.

Drink fluids.

As far as creatine goes, I imagine you only need enough fluid to get it down without gagging. Whether you’re using 8, 16, or 20 ounces of water should make little difference.

I find that if I’m having a good workout, I’m drinking a lot more water than that. You can’t drink too much water.
