i’ve never seen the vid. guess it looked tacky mostly because it looked like it had karaoke subtitles… damn i hate karaoke…
jobs are hard… figuring out what you want to do, i mean. something i’m still struggling with… unfortunately it seems that i can’t be a professional student forever

I’m right there with ya with the job thing.
Accept I’ve never had a job aside from being in the military. And now I’m old.
The only ‘job,’ I’ve had for the last 10 years is ‘Mom.’
I have a good idea of what is I want to do but I’m still in explore mode… [/quote]
I hear you on the old thing.
My problem is no motivation, I don’t have the education for any job I might want, but I need to work so it seems like the only jobs available are jobs I don’t want. Hence the lack of motivation to get these crappy jobs.
I guess I’m still in think or research/explore mode.
It’s a mistake to waste your youth thinking that you’re old when you are not. So, time’s a wasting Charlie–what do you want to be when you grow up? Answer like a child and go after that!

there are plenty of “quizzez” that help you figure out your “dream job”.
my advice however is to browse the papers and online forums and see what kind of jobs are available and tailor your education to what interests you.

I agree with the education thing. I plan on taking more classes when I can afford them. I just need a crappy job, right now, that I am qualified for that doesn’t make me wish I would get hit by a bus on the way to work so I don’t have to go to work.<-always a bad sign
The problem with my job right now is lack of hours not wanting to get hit by a bus.<-fyi
I actually don’t mind the job if there were more hours and it was a different job site, the job site is too routine right now. So maybe I would like my job again if it was somewhere else(stagnation thing maybe?).

I only ever wanted to pretend I/we(brother, sisters, friends) were on adventures and we were always in peril. I liked to make up scenarios out of my head for these. No real jobs or careers appealed to me. I used to daydream a lot.
I also wanted to get paid to read and/or watch movies. The funny thing is is that that is what I do as a security guard. Well mostly the reading but during really boring shifts in the middle of nowhere there are movies. I may have already had my dream job.

I think I will be attending classes forever. I think I would do that even if I won the lottery, not that I play the lottery. I think I’ll have to take at least one in the fall so I can use the university gym for $40 a year.
Wed: Shoulders, I think that I may remove the OH press or Millie or whatever you call it because it is hurting my shoulder too much. The push press does not so I may do that instead. Next week I will try replacing the OH press with a push press. There decision made.
65% = 50lbs x 5
75% = 55lbs x 5
85% = 65lbs x 2 < the pain in my shoulder got worse as The weight went up
Assistance:
push press/OH shrug(this was a superset)
weighted planks(best time was last at 41secs)
Thurs: Squats, I did good with these but lost form on last set because there were people looking in the weight room and watching me. grrr. I felt like acting like the gorillas at the zoo and running up and thumping on the glass(imagining doing this helped me keep my cool lol)
70% = 80lbs x 3
80% = 90lbs x 3
90% = 100lbs x 3 <prescribed reps meh, next week I will be squatting 110lbs(new weight so I’ll kick ass next week)
Accessories:
Squat practice, just with the bar and practicing powering out fast.
weighted crunch/back lunge (superset, kicked my ass)
That’s it bench tonight.
No it’s not my birthday but Nads did mention what I wanted to be as a kid and this is a song about a little girl and her birthday. Sugarcubes “Birthday” (Bjork was the lead singer).
Do you have a shoulder press video? Sometimes people’s shoulders just can’t do it, but I think mostly the shoulder pain is a result of not holding the scapula back and down, keeping the chest up, and core tight while pressing. If you hunch the shoukders even a tiny bit, which feel like it helps but doesn’t, you get shoulder pain.

Hey IC
Here is one of my vids, you can see the bar move over to the right a little. Also it is just the right shoulder that hurts, the left is fine.
Push presses and OH shrugs were not really a problem. But even a warm up press with a 5lbs db causes slight pain, it’s just more with a heavier weight.
The pain is in the front/at the top of shoulder. Just to give more info.
Hi Charlie, I just stopped in to say hi and nice mpress video. If it were me, I’d back way down and go to dumbbells until the right shoulder gets stronger. Ignore those people watching you lift. Are they squatting? No! They are probably just jealous.
