Monday was squat day, and things felt pretty good. No knee or hip pain, and the reps were all solid. I feel like I’m finally getting back to where I was on the squat prior to the knee issues. I’m still wrapping my right knee, and no belt yet. There’s a meet in October I’d like to do, so who knows? Yesterday was bench day. I felt a bit stronger than last week. I let my feet go a bit more forward and I think my leg drive improved somewhat. Today is deadlifts.

Monday:
Squats: 95x5, 135x5, 185x3, 245x5,5,5,5,5 (RPE = 6-7)
RDL: 135x8, 245x8,8,8,8
Face Pulls: 80x10,10,10,10

Yesterday:
Bench Press: 95x5, 135x5, 185x3, 210x5,5,5,5,5 (RPE = 7,7,7,8,8)
Cable Row: 140x8, 210,8,8,8,8
Incline DB Press: 70x8,8,8,8
Triceps pressdown: 60x10,10,10,10

I thought it was time to post again. Life gets in the way sometimes. The lifting has been going fairly well, however, at least I think. Yesterday was squats. I’m still adding 10lbs/week since around mid-April to rehab the knee. I think I’m almost where I was before the knee issue arose late last year. I’m still wrapping the “bad” knee lightly, and I have yet to wear the belt for squats. So far I’ve been pain free.

Squats: 95x5, 135x5, 185x3, 225x1, 265x5,5,5,5,5 (felt relatively easy)
RDL: 135x8, 245x8,8,8,8
Triceps pressdown: 60x10,10,10,10

Today my legs are sorer than I can remember them being for quite a while, so I must have done something right. Next week I may try doing some singles.

Yeah that was my experience too. I was never stronger… or thicker 'round the middle… and the joints weren’t always happy with me either.

I’m currently lamenting the lost strength but enjoying the abs too much to do anything about it. :wink:
