Wow those prices all look great. The doctor (mail order out of state) I have been talking to is $695 every 3 months for test cyp, hcg and a E blocker. Seems high but no doctor seems to want to prescribe in my area unless you are below 200 tt (I’m at 240-300).
Cost:
Doctor: About 4 visits/year @ $30 copay = $120/year. But I would make those visits for other issues even if I was not doing TRT, so TRT cost for doctor =$0/year.
Labs: Insurance covers 100% of labs, except that doctor will not include E2 so I pay privately @ about $30 twice a year. Cost for labs = $60/year.
Testosterone: Through insurance, co-pay is $10 month or $120/year. But the insurance had too many strings attached (prior approval annually, limits on quantity, annoying 1 ml vials) so I now buy T without insurance. Cost is about $400/year.
Pins; $25/year.
Total: About $485/year. In my opinion TRT is fabulous - worth many times what I pay for it.
Mine averages out to about $240/month for Test, HCG, and AI. That doesn’t count the frequent lab work or endo visits.
HCG is $64 per 10ml (in two 5ml vials) which lasts for 1 month after opening, supposedly although others say it lasts longer.
Test is $20 per 10ml at 200mg / ml. Something like that.
Arimidex is the equivalent of $10 a year at 1mg per week.
It’s all pretty cheap.
Not sure how much blood tests are.
I thought I got mine cheap. Your price beats mine! Source?
The pharmacy (CVS) charged me 98 cents for 6 1mg pills. A little strange. I’m supposed to take 1/4 mg twice per week, so it’ll last 12 weeks. I’m taking 1/2mg twice per week, the pills can’t even be cut into 1/4s. So I figure that’s about 60mg for $10 or a year’s worth. Maybe I’m confused on the price. Maybe it was $2.
You must have good insurance. The cash price for 12mg is about $90 at CVS. I just bought some.
At costco pharmacy it’s like 30$ for 20 pills. No membership needed.
I need to find a doctor who takes insurance. That said $1000 gets me years worth of Test cyp at 160ml a week. 1000mls a week HCG, amex all the syringes I need. 4 Blood tests a year. Unless I need more then it is whatever it takes to get me stable. It is a flat rate service
Doctor visits: 120$ x 4
Clomid: 60$ x 4
Arimidex: 30$ x 2
Bloods are covered by insurance. I might have a 10$ copay or something like that.
660$ year for my therapy. Not bad really. My doc is cash only and drugs I pay out of pocket at costco pharmacy. I’d gladly pay more.
