Good post.
Despite being raised in what many of you guys would call a “nanny state” or “socialist country”, I found this post very inspirational.
For the longest time I never really disagreed with tax increases and government subsidies in my country, but after opening up my own small business (along with my normal job) it makes me wonder if I’m working 12 hours a day/6 days a week, why the hell should this hard earned money to go someone who is working 1/4 as hard.
I just really find this post to spirited and motivational. Imagine what the world would be like if everyone worked as hard as this guy.

The U.S. is working very diligently in heading in Canada’s direction. In 36 hours we’ll know whether or not a catalyst has been added to the potion to make us get there that much quicker.[/quote]
It’s not as bad as they as it is. There’s still enough after income tax to pay for fancy items such as SUVs, lcd tvs, dirt bikes, and new counter-tops for the kitchen. When I broke off a piece of my ulna in the summer there weren’t any medical bills afterwards. The poor people are fairly happy, and as a result, the crime rates are the lowest they’ve ever been. The federal government also posted a budget surplus this year. I also got 1000$ from the government to put towards buying my brand new honda civic.
Anyway, just want to say thanks for keeping our continent safe from terrorism and producing my favourite consumer goods. Best of luck with the election and I hope you guys can figure out a way to make it all work down there.

You probably shouldn’t be bragging about that because people had many times that amount taken out in taxes so you can have that brand new Civic.
