You’re on the right track, but it’s still apples to oranges. One of those has as its goal to produce high quality news, while the other has as its fundamental goal to make money regardless of the means necessary.
Which one do you think was on 24 hour watch reporting on the contents of John Karr’s meal on his flight from Thailand? Even Access Hollywood acts with a higher purpose than that.
