PI. Sand fleas and cellulitis galore.
Hollywood here. I miss The Corps but not the bullshit.
6 D.I.'s. Six !!!
I havenāt been able to stop laughing for 5 straight minutes after reading this post!!! Iāve had a crappy week and really needed a good laugh. Thank you, and I hope you have a good weekend!
So, starting from yesterday all schools and universities in Italy are closed until March 15th.
Unofficially itās been speculated this decision might be extended to take effect until the first week of April.
Italian economy wasnāt in a particularly good spot to begin with, but I can see how these decisions are going to be the nail in the coffin most likely. Hope this is over soon enough.
I had 4. All of mine were combat vets, crazy motherfuckers. Did you also watch Full Metal Jacket after being in boot camp and go āwow, boot camp looks easy as fuck thereā?
Ermy ad libād most of his lines.
Which one ?
He was phenomenal, such that he was given a post-service honorary promotion to actual gunny (he was a ssgt if I remember) for his performance. I just meant - one DI would be cake. 4+ DIs all screaming and running at full speed from 4 am until 8 pm every day was much worse.
It was awful. Meanest mfāers ever
Your post about having so many stds that now you are immune to everything.
Itās true. They actually isolated the mutated gene sequence in my DNA and started vaccinating new recruits with it. Unkillable scum troops.
If you havenāt even been tested for an STD I know you were pretty boring in your 20ās and we wouldnāt have been friends.
Lol! Guess we wouldnāt have been friends then! My twenties were extremely boringā¦I spent 7 of them in university with my head in a book.
Seven years to read one book? You werenāt just boring.
I was kidding but damn you did your 20ās wrong!
16 million in Northern Italy locked down. Any sign of the Apes coming to chase us out of town?
CM, are you a full surgeon? I wonder if it takes 7 years to learn in depth surgery and also the Anesthesiology to go with it.
Iām just a general dentist. I did a 3 year B.Hsc. undergrad degree and then 4 years of dental school to get my DDS degree.
There has been some discussion about something that, maybe for the first time ever since the outbreak of the virus, has got me scared.
Apparently, we are running out of hospital spots and someone has suggested that the next step that will be taken, once we get to that point, is hospitals will have to choose which patients to accept and which to leave out based on their life expectancy.
So old people, those with pre-existing critical conditions etc. will be left behind to favor younger and healthier individuals in need of care.
To people in the US where hospitals wonāt cure you anyway if you donāt have a health insurance this might not sound like much, but here Healthcare is free and even thinking about what I just wrote sounds alien and very, very frightening to me. Not for myself, you see, but the idea that a State can get to such a point⦠Yeah, itās worrying.
Are you in the area that is under quarantine?
You got me thinking, here in Canada we have āfreeā healthcare but hospitals have been overcrowded for a long time, in Ontario they have hospital beds in hallways and storage rooms, Quebec might be even worse. If we have a major outbreak here we are fucked.
Based on what you say, it sounds like in Italy they have given up on trying to stop the spread of the virus within the quarantine zone. I guess they just have to let it run its course until everyone has been exposed to it. On the bright side, it doesnāt sound like anything too severe for most people, like a bad cold with a lung infection. Still not something you want to catch.
