The CDC had to change the definition of vaccine. https://www.miamiherald.com/news/coronavirus/article254111268.html
I think thatās a āThe Science changed.ā
The previous definitions could have been āinterpreted to mean that vaccines were 100% effective, which has never been the case for any vaccine, so the current definition is more transparent, and also describes the ways in which vaccines can be administered,ā the spokesperson said.

Not sure why this would be an issue.
Iām looking for evidence where the CDC or Fauci specifically said the COVID vaccine will prevent you from getting COVID.
Which is what Science is supposed to do when it is wrong.
He called it a vaccine. By definition at the time, a vaccine prevented you from getting a disease.
Changing definitions isnāt part of that.
So you think the flu vaccine prevents you from getting the flu?
Why not?
Thatās more a language issue than science, I would think.
Sure, but the language now better reflects the reality of vaccines. Should be a good thing.
You can quibble semantics on government messaging all day, but t he last two years have not been an exercise in credible sources acting on behalf of the public health interest. Credibility is quite fleeting, especially when you lead with a lie about masks and a silly feel-good phrase like ātwo weeks to slow the spreadā.
I highly doubt that our governmentās messaging on COVID and vaccines in particular will be a good thing if, god forbid, we get hit with a pandemic straight out of the history books with 30 percent mortality. Hell, even 5 percent mortality.
So much credibility has been squandered that it will probably take generational forgetfulness before the public health establishment gets taken seriously by enough people for it to matter when weāre faced with a situation where taking it seriously becomes critically important.
Skip to 7:50 where thereās a clip of Fauci saying, āIf you get vaccinated youāre like a dead end to the virus.ā
I suppose you could make the argument that heās saying the vaccine prevents you from spreading it rather than preventing you from catching it. Either way he was mistaken.
I agree that argument could be made and he was wrong about that.
But as you stated, he did not say it would prevent infection.
I think the biden admin made a serious miscalculation. They let covid go because of Ukraine, but Ukraine isnāt the dominant feature in the culture as they wanted it to be. I donāt think anybody can snap back to covid restrictions, but watch them try around election time.
Is there a real source that proves this or just an Instagram/Twitter screenshot providing no evidence whatsoever?
Interesting lol.
I can only read the first couple of paragraphs but it sounds like they didnāt actually give the money? They promised it but then backed out?
