It’s in my post. Hospitals, and virus evolution, which for both of those are made worse by the unvaxxed.
I’ve seen JRE and I’ve posted links to his podcasts in the past. But if it’s game of thrones then it’s season 8 and he’s giving the “who’s got a better story” speech.
What’s with the name calling? Calling people Nazis, Peado’s etc just makes this whole chat pointless. It’s happening more often and tbh I can’t imagine eye dentist to be a nazi, I’ve seen him post for years and he’s been consistent. Same as loppar.
No, I have not.
Yeah kind of how anyone who opposes the vaccines mandates is called a right winger, conspiracy theorist, their intelligence is questioned because they “do not believe science”, etc the list goes on.
Well according to that theory, then NYC should be doing the best with covid, but instead are doing the worst. They are the most locked down, most masked and the most vaccinated group in the country and have the harshest penalties against the “unvaxed” and they have the highest covid rate in the country. And have the highest case rate. Maybe what all that crap they are proclaiming doesn’t really work.
It’s the science, bub. Didn’t you go to your weekly struggle session, this week? It’s not good to miss church. You have to get your talking points strait.
I don’t know if that is true or not, but I’d say there are more variables than what you listed. They have a high population density and cold weather. Two things that make comparing it to another location pretty hard to do fairly, and certainly too difficult to draw a conclusion from.
Keep making excuses
Feel free to check it. It is what it is. You can postulate on the reasons why, but you cannot say they haven’t been firm enough with the public.
You mean like exposing them to a deadly virus?
Until and unless the gubmint starts forcing people to take the jab at gunpoint, you need to hold off on this talk of “compelled behavior.”
That belief is correct.
Yes, that would be the libertarian/anarchist argument against drunk-driving laws. Thank you (sincerely) for explicating the rationale. Now, let’s see if Mr ‘Liberty or Death’ will endorse it.
Well, there’s the additional risks they pose vis a vis spreading the virus…
I mean, y’all do know that, at any given moment, some number of TB-positive people in the US are literally locked away to keep them from spreading it?
Sure, and you can’t say that is the reason why they have high rates.
For what? Requiring causation over correlation. Sure, I’ll do that all day.
I’d be okay with that, however apparently this is unethical.
There are stories of anti vaxxers begging to be vaccinated when nearing death
However I’d be okay with those who don’t want to get vaccinated signing documentation stating "I’m aware of the risks, and I revoke my right to be admitted if I require hospitalisation OR ICU care due to covid.
In which case the doctors can send me home with some fun pills (morphine, diazepam) to sedate me and FURTHER suppress my ability to breathe… and I die in peace.
I’d be totally okay with this and I prefer it to the mandates.
With omicron, the vaccines aren’t effective at preventing transmission… a booster shot knocks it up to around 50%… but still
Vaccinated people are going to pass it around and unvaccinated people are going to pass it around… so vaccine mandates ONLY exist to lessen burden on hospitals/ICU.
Well in the USA the legal limit is .08
I’m fairly inebriated at .08
.05 is when I start feeling it.
I have NO tolerance anymore. I take that back… one extra strength beer is enough for me to "feel it’. I’ve only done the BAC experiment once, but I imagine one 8% beer isn’t getting me to .05
However driving drunk increases the odds of crashing by like 40 fold… so the “drunk driving doesn’t harm anyone” argument… while true… is flawed… because you’re a danger to everyone else when driving drunk… it’s worse than driving on cannabis, driving on morphine etc (according to the data ive read) and to note, I don’t think you should be driving on any of this, you shouldn’t drive sleep deprived either.
Even driving while hungover is dangerous.
It’s probably equitable to driving on sleeping tablets like diazepam
I shouldn’t have even gone down that path with the drunk driving haha. I am for the laws around that as they are.
I will say that it was a good comparison between the vax to work mandate though. Just wanted to bring up that I could see someone arguing that both should be prohibited if they value individual liberty a lot. I was arguing against my actual stance, as a point to think about.
I value individual liberty over collectivism… however I don’t pander towards extremes. There’s a line that when crossed invokes the requirement for regulatory standardisation.
I see you are still afraid to answer the question
Or are you more afraid that it will expose your hypocrisy
I endured Holland Tunnel traffic over the Thanksgiving holiday, and I can assure you that is not the case. It really colors the rest of your posts in a negative light when you pull obviously false, hyperbolized “facts” out of your…something.
Given how “positive Covid cases” are running rampant through pro sports right now, I’m no longer so sure that is true. Check out NBA news -supposedly 90% (95?) of NBA players are vaccinated.
I’m vaccinated, but I’m personally getting skeptical of this new “new variant, new shot” policy. And why is no one mentioning the basic science of viruses? -as they mutate, they become less deadly to the host. If there’s an actual scientist here who knows that is false, please enlighten me.
Then what’s California’s excuse
