Yeah, I don’t get it and I’m bummed you had to deal with the fallout. Politics or not, it would seem like a business owner would not want to put their livelihood at risk with a potential lawsuit.
On the plus side… Now you’ll be immune?

Both of you are now Daywalkers.
Plus @SkyzykS and @chris_ottawa.
What a great hoax this has been. 4 out of 22 frequent posters in this thread have had it.
No clue if I’m immune or if so how long.
But I guess it shows by system can handle it.
I dont feel like Wesley Snipes…
I feel so ashamed I fell for a hoax…![]()
It’ll soon be your job to hunt down the asymptomatic ones who refuse to put on masks.
I’m so easily duped. Big pharma got me on the hook with big spooky heart failure so that they could make me take their drugs, now this.
I remind me of a Zappa song:

Sweet! I always wanted a superpower and a cool sword. Not to mention muscle car.
I want a blacked out late '60s vette, with a blade that shoots out the front and slices through enemies.
And of course all of the nitrous supercharged bulletproof stuff.
Rush hour would be so much easier this way!
Well a week in … no fever for 5 days only minor fatigue from time to time. Im guessing the transformation to a day walker is almost complete.
That’s great news to hear! Some of my relatives have not been so lucky, but thankfully no hospitals ![]()
My wife has had a elevated temp for 6 days now… but not seeing any major complications.
Some lowlights from today:
With over 2650 deaths, today has been the most deadly day for COVID deaths so far and we still have hours to go.
A doctor in Reno, Nevada posted picture of an overflow unit they’ve set up to handle COVID patients in a parking garage. Trump actually called the picture fake news. the Governor of Nevada, the CEO of the hospital and the physician himself immediately responded, saying, “It is very real.”

I’m not keen on posting a video of Brian Williams, but the focus is on a Fox and Friends segment from 12/1. They are so far behind current events it’s unbelievable.

What are you talking about?? He was part of the Apollo 11 crew, he’s practically a national hero ![]()
But damn, that is a savage last line. Awesome.
Transplanting this here so as not to detail the topic of the other thread.
Why is this unconstitutional? I’m not asking why it’s bad policy, a bad decision, or anything else. I’m asking why the situation is unconstitutional.
Freedumb of speech.
Hoping it’s more than that
Because the constitution guarantees a right to peaceably assemble. It does not specify how or why, just that, that right cannot be infringed. It also requires equal application of the law, which is not happening in this case. The restrictions are targeted against primarily the Jewish community and other communities considered less than, without any sound logic of science to back it up. I can get into more detail if you’d like but that is the gist.
I thought you would reply with something like that. The ruling on limiting religious gatherings related to the lawsuit from the RC diocese and Jewish synagogues is not the same as normal businesses, because religion is not the same as commerce. And is not treated the same in the Constitution.
The houses of worship were subject to certain restrictions that other businesses IN THE SAME HOT ZONE CATEGORY were not subject to. It had nothing to do with the constitutionality of zoning areas differently from each other. It also had nothing to do with the constitutionality of enforcing different restrictions based on which “zone” one was in.
In addition the ruling is also a temporary ruling similar to a stay while related issues are being worked through in lower courts.
I’ve only ever been apart of services in a synagogue for funerals, but if their services are like the christian services I’m used to with a whole bunch of congregation singing, I can see why restrictions on capacity/gatherings should be tighter on their religious services than on businesses in the same area.
