Here again I differ in opinion to what is bad and what is good. Yall are calling teen pregnancy something that is inherently evil. I disagree. I think people getting pregnant with unwanted children that they cannot or are not prepared to care for is bad, but that is not synonymous with teen pregnancy.

I would not call a married 19 year in a loving relationship and desiring a baby while in a position and maturity to care for it bad. I would call a 40 year old without a stabile economic status getting pregnant with an unwanted baby they can???¢??t care for bad.

My grandmother was married and pregnant at 15. And she raised a fine family. Was that bad?
Was her pregnancy planned?
No idea. why?
It was a bad example then and not relevant to today’s problem.
Today’s problem is a culture of selfish pleasure seeking adults, whose weak-willed addiction to sex, and permissiveness, has us today showing children an image of another child masturbating. “Clittle-league,” indeed.

No one ever mentioned planned-ness or how it relates to the morality of the situation. Including all the evidence being touted.

So what exactly is the problem that this culture is creating?

I didn’t get an answer from you in the other thread.

With your stance on contraception…

Is there a moral and feasible way for a couple to carry on a sexual relationship in your mind?

Do you think sex acts that can lead to pregnancy should only be undertaken if the goal is procreation?
DoubleDuce wrote:
Did you teach your kid how to get away with armed robbery, because committing armed robbery. And I’d prefer to teach them not to do it, than how to do it without consequence.
But doesn’t teaching them not to do something mean that they have to know what that thing is?

Dad: Don’t commit armed robbery. It’s morally wrong.
Kid: OK dad, I won’t. What is armed robbery?
Dad: It’s something that you shouldn’t do.
Kid: But what is it?

or

Kid 1: I’m going to wait until marriage to have sex.
Kid 2: I respect that. But head isn’t really sex.
Kid 1: It’s not?
Kid 2: No, no. Sex is only with a penis and vagina.
Kid 1: Thanks for telling me that. My parents never taught me sex at home.

It seems to me that for some reason people have this notion that knowing what something is and experiencing it are the same. But they are not.

Yeah. Get married. We used to actually hold that as a standard. Kids would have both parents present. The socioeconomic positives followed. Enough young workers/tax producers were produced. If anyone actually gave two craps about social mobility and lower income folk, we’d still be pushing those norms.

I thought I did answer that? I’d have to look.

How does a married couple undertake regular sex without birth control if they do not want a pregnancy?

Would parents have to be present everytime a married couple wants to have sex?

.

Safe sex is teaching how to get away with it, not what sex is or to not do it.

Edit:
Besides the fact that everyone here is constantly contending that kids will know what sex is without this education anyway.

What if they are gay and it’s illegal to get married in that state.

Perhaps you should ask a doctor. Why are you asking me?

…What?

Then it’s not an issue in the first place.
Sloth wrote:

What do you mean why am I asking you?

There’s a high probability of pregnancy when two people engage in unprotected sex. If contraception is immoral in your opinion, how can a couple carry on a sex life without contraception?

What does my opinion have to do with it? They will or will not use contraception. So, why are you asking me?

Present in the home…I wasn’t talking about kids having sex. I was talking about married parents.

I’m asking you, in your opinion is there a way to maintain a regular sex life without acting immorally?

For realz. Everyone knows that it should be a government employed teacher in the room making sure the kids do it right, not parents.
