Considering Self-Prescribing TRT If Doctor Won't Help. Opinions?

If I were you I would split the injections into twice weekly from now on.

@dextermorgan yep that’s the plan. Did the one big injection as a sort of front loading dose. From here on out my plan is 160mg split twice weekly. Hopefully I don’t get any bad side effects and plan is to assess how I’m feeling and get bloods done in 2 months

Day 2, feeling some soreness in the injection spot but nothing visible. I might be noticing a bit of increase in libido, not sure. And also having a bit more energy at work. Might be placebo.

Definitely was either placebo or just a spike in levels or something. Feeling not amazing today and pretty much the same as I felt before I started. Pinned 75mg last night

The next 3 or 4 weeks will fly by and you’ll be feeling it in no time.

@dextermorgan I’m half tempted to just pin another 75 mg tomorrow, that’d be alot for one week though. Just thinking it’d get my levels up quicker. Kinda impatient but it’s probably best to wait it out and go with my protocol I guess

I honestly thought I was feeling something yesterday. Libido truly seemed to be up

Coming from someone who learned the hard way about changing shit too early DON’T. The next few weeks will come faster than you think.

@dextermorgan

Yeah I’ll let it ride for now. Seems I’m feeling better in waves. I don’t know if it’s actually the test or just placebo. Really hoping I’ve got a decent protocol for me at 150 split twice weekly.

Yeah 150mg is a great starting point. Just don’t get in your head too much this early. There will be good and bad things that happen and most of it you have zero control over at this point. It’s like a boat ride across the ocean from pre-trt to TRT. You’ll have great weather and then all of a sudden a storm comes out of no where. It will pass as long as you don’t do anything stupid. Just relax and stay the course. You WILL get to a point where you feel much better most of the time. Relax and stay the course. We’ve all been there.

@dextermorgan really appreciate all the advice. Hoping to see good results from this.

It takes time. I was annoyed for 5-6 weeks of a little up and then feeling a little down. Then week 7 it was finally like wow I feel better and my issues were gone.

So yeah. Be patient I guess is the point.

Seems my blood pressure is spiking when I get busy at work. I’m a chef so it gets hectic. Having some bad anxiety during these moments, going to ramp up the cardio in hopes that it’ll help. Also hoping to see my belly fat go away which should also help. Really not enjoying these moments of intense anxiety

@systemlord I know you mentioned TRT helped lower your elevated blood pressure, how long did this take to happen?

My blood pressure leveled out after a few months

@dextermorgan

Mine was slightly elevated to begin with, 140/74 I believe. Did you have normal BP pre TRT?

Yeah it was normal before TRT but as I got leaner it got lower than pre

I noticed improved energy, lower heart rate and lower blood pressure after a couple of days.

Got resting blood pressure checked again today, 142/82. I definitely have more energy at work but when it gets busy and I’m running around I definitely have an increase in anxiety and almost can’t calm down or my words come out faster than I can think resulting in me mis speaking or getting all fucked up mid sentence. I’m thinking this is because my BP probably goes even higher while working. I’m hoping losing my fat along with a good excercise routine will solve this because I’d rather not need to be on blood pressure meds at 24 yrs old. High blood pressure does run in my mom’s side of the family though

I have noticed an increase in mental clarity and I’m more confident and assertive.

Is this high of blood pressure something that will be greatly improved or should I seek improvement?

My blood pressure and heart rates are all over the place within 6 weeks of dosing changes, when levels become stable after 6 weeks, BP and heart rates return to normal.

@systemlord what kind of improvements did you see in BP? What was your highest vs when dialed in?
