Considering Running my First Cycle

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Let me thank you first for looking at my topic. I am currently 26 years old and have been training for a solid 4 or so years. I feel that I have made pretty good gains naturally, but I want to take my physique to the next level. I am considering running my first cycle, but I have some questions and concerns that I need help with. I will put a link to a video of my physique. I did this because I want an easier visual assessment rather than simply a description. (Please excuse my flexing. I don’t know how to pose and did it in the last minute).

  1. Do you think it is the right time for me to run a cycle?
  2. What is the best cycle for really lean gains. I want to gain mostly just lean muscle. I read Dbol and Test is the basic but will cause a lot of water retention. Is there any alternates?
  3. I heard raising your test levels will cause excessive hair growth in your body, and particularly facial hair. I also heard that it can alter your facial structure such as Jaw growth. Is there any truth to this?
  4. What is the worst thing that can happen to me for running AAS? lets say I simply have bad luck when I run my first cycle. What is the worst thing that it can do to my health.
  5. Will AAS accelerate or increase my chances of hair loss?

That is my questions for now. I would like to thank you all in advanced for your help. I do apologize if my question are noobish and have already been asked. I met enhanced “trainers” who gave me advice, but I really want more unbiased and knowledgeable input. Looking forward to talking to you all!

  1. “Right time” is subjective, my friend. You look good, so you obviously have a solid foundation from which to build.
  2. First cycle should almost always be just test. You don’t know how you’re going to react to any of these drugs, so only taking one means you can pinpoint what is causing any side effects.
2a. In theory one could use test, EQ, primo, et al to put on lean muscle. But making purely lean gains isn’t a physical possibility. You’ll have to gain some fat too. Calorie surplus is calorie surplus. Can’t fight that.
  3. Test can make you hairier, yes. I’ve always been able to grow a beard in two hours, so I didn’t notice anything on my face. But I got thicker chest hair and new hair on my lower back from just TRT levels of test.
  4. The worst thing that can happen is that you lose your natural ability to produce testosterone and have to be on replacement for the rest of your life. And you become sterile. Those are the two dangers.
  5. If you’re prone to baldness then yeah, it’ll accelerate on test. I’m almost 36 and have the same amount of hair that I had when I was 16. TRT for over a year hasn’t changed a thing about my head hair. Other guys run one cycle and their baldness goes from noticeable to “fuck it I’ll shave my head”. It’s entirely genetic.

I’m making an addendum to this post, just for the sake of giving you some information that isn’t from your local bro and/or dealer.

The leanness of the mass you add is going to be very contingent on your diet. Guys blow up on dbol because they don’t use enough AI and maybe they eat like Hell for those six weeks. Then they complain about how all their gains were just “water” and they’re right back where they started. On the other side of the coin, guys run EQ for 20 weeks and end up looking great because they took their time and added real muscle, real strength, and real endurance that helped them keep their bf down even when eating a ton.

Meanwhile, I ran lower dose dbol for six weeks and lost some weight but gained strength and fullness in my arms and shoulders. But I ate really clean for five of those six weeks.

The point is this: the drug matters less than the diet and the training. All AAS will help you make some gains, whether it’s size or strength or endurance. But absent the right diet these drugs won’t mean much to your overall physique.

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. My diet is pretty clean for about 2 years now. I eat turkey, beef, eggs, bananas, avocados, white rice everyday. I never really liked the idea of bulking and cutting so my goal was to gain lean muscle naturally. The only really thing I am worried about is hair loss. I don’t believe I have a family history of hair loss, but who knows lol. Lets say I do take a test only cycle. What kind of Test should I take and how much. I have seen so many cycle examples online and I am confused how much or how long to run it. What do you guys think the ideal amount is?

Dig out the family album and look at your moms dad. 95% of the time that is the hairline you will inherit. Good luck
