Congrats to T-Cell Alpha

That pun was only casually intended =]

(Didn’t catch that one, Mak!)

It’s funny, Tirib…

When I’ve expressed these thoughts in the past (and most recently) I was called a “shill” or “Biotest Bitch”; and most recently, in the “pre-revision” Cell, was told to “STFU…”

This is a business, with a very innovative business model, that has allowed “Biotest” to not only survive in the age of Internet Commerce; but to survive in an industry that is cutthroart; FULL of scammers; and has few survivors for ONE year, much less more than ten.

So; my “shilling” is no more than respect for what TC and Tim have been able to accomplish.

(Hell…in their business, they should be given props for just SURVIVING…)

I didn’t take it as a criticism and am sure that justified ones are going to be inevitable on occasion. I wasn’t here for the original Dogg Pound and didn’t make the connection. Responsibility isn’t necessarily the same as credit either in cases like this.

I credit the improved state of the cell to the members at large and am also confident that it will improve even further[/quote]

Wow, I didn’t realize how much the T-Cell thing mattered to all of you. If it pops up outside again, I’ll try and restrain myself. It’ll be difficult, but I’ll try.

You seem to think that somehow conservatism will suffer because of what I write. C’mon, man, libs are too brain dysfunctional. You’re giving them too much credit for logic and reason.

Like Ann Coulter says: “If liberals had any brains, they be Republicans.” The point is: they have no brains. The fact that they would even be influenced by what I write here disqualifies them from any sort of intellectual endeavour.

And I still think some of you guys should fess up and admit that you laughed out loud at the Prof’s ‘Poetry Hour’. And the delicious irony of the sheriff and the lion…hilarious!!

What am I gonna do with you? Every cause suffers if it’s proponents don’t even attempt to live up to it’s principles. If you are really so arrogant as to actually believe that people who don’t share your views are by definition less intelligent and beneath you then I’ve given YOU too much credit.

Lesson number one in ANY conflict, whether it be intellectual, philosophical, athletic or military. Never EVER underestimate your adversary. Wars have been lost and history changed more than once as a result of that most grievous of errors.

If the leftist, secular, socialist liberals were as stupid as you say they wouldn’t be winning the battle for the soul of this nation. Our enemies the world over are chuckling under their breath “we’re not gonna have to have to fire a shot. Those dumbasses are doin it to themselves”. It’s brilliant. I stand in gape jawed awe.

Ho Chi Minh figured it out first and others have been very very wise in chipping away at the foundation from the inside since the 60’s.

Your vitreolic button pushing reinforces the false views people have about conservatives that they are being beaten over the head with every day.

See now, this is a nice discussion and you make good points.

My issue is with remaining silent in the face of something with which I disagree. If making fun of absurdities and irrationalities is treason, make the most of it. (Quick! Who’d I steal that from? )

You’re missing the point that buttons are there TO be pushed. Someone supports that criminal Obama? Push their buttons. McCain is our only hope? Push. In fact, I’d contend that people have ‘buttons’ because they know they are wrong and are trying to get away with something. It is our, mine and yours, patriotic duty to push those buttons.

I didn’t see this before, but why am I doing this to myself. There will be those who claim I am falling into your meaningless trap of prolonging this exchange. If I am so be it.

While Obama is an enemy of this country, a lite version (barely) of everything we fought the cold war to defeat and McCain is NO stalwart constructionist himself, I could not possibly disagree with you more.

Stirring up people’s unjustified stereotypical prejudices is exactly the tactic used by the left to paint a false impression of what traditional conservatives are about. You do their work for them by pushing those same buttons.

Our patriotic duty is to declare the UNIQUELY AMERICAN principles made this country great and invite anybody interested in joining us to do so. Substantive sincere discourse, which is damn near impossible for issues of this import on an internet forum, is the only method with a prayer of success. Unless someone believes as you seem to that only people too stupid to already hold your views would have the audacity to disagree with you in the first place.

Then there,d be no point because they’re not intellectually or morally equipped to grasp what someone of your elevated status is saying anyway. Isn’t that the very elitism we despise in the nanny state socialist uptopians?

I started a thread detailing my true thoughts in the Politics Forum, to which I now invite you. Oh wait, I didn’t need to invite you because… ;D …sorry, couldn’t resist. Trying to be done ripping on Alpha. I am really trying. I didn’t even look at it today.

Please continue the discussion there.

I saw that earlier.

Look, as you probably guessed by now nobody can name an issue that I do not have a rather long considered viewpoint on. However that’s not what I come here for though on occasion I get the best of myself. I’m bowing out of the socio-political discourse for a while. I can get caught up in this for weeks, but like I say, that’s not why I come here.

Wow, wow. I’m not even sure how to respond to this. My neighbor, who thinks a little differently than I do, he is an “enemy”, huh? Wow… wow…

IMO it’s people like yourself–on both sides of the political aisle–that are ripping our country apart. Stop. Please.
