You made an excellent point about the media allways confusing Spec Ops and SF as well as all things military. It is possible it was a miscommunication or misunderstanding. However, it is also possible it was exactly right on and just totally retarded. As far as having the orders followed, it all depends on the chain of command and how closely they are being watched. I noticed that the higher up you go on the Spec Ops ladder, the more the rules get ignored, and the more they get away with it.
