Haha true man I know what you mean, I think I must spend a 1/4 of my time at the gym wondering what exercise someone is actually trying to do!

yes! if they’re not inventing some totally retarded exercise then they’re doing regular exercises but with the absolute worst form imaginable. the most popular action i witness is half rep syndrome. they’ll use way too much weight and barely make it to the half way point before pressing it back up. yea i can use the 120’s too if i used a range of 6 inches! i swear no one has any clue regarding the concept of FULL RANGE OF MOTION.

1morerep, your “bulk” is what I would like to eventually look like. It’s all about perspective. My wife’s cousin weighs well over 450 lbs, maybe more, and is starting to lose weight (he just realized his health is at stake). He wants to be down to 220-250, my size. He wants to look like me? Anyway, the point is you look great, but never be satisfied because you can always improve.

Actually I think thats very interesting because I once heard a saying that goes “you know your fat if you just want to look like the before picture”

Of course his “before” pic should be the exception. Yeah I’m husky. Ok, I’m a little more than husky, but it’s still good to have a visual goal.

Why is everyone so hard on this guy. Yeah I think he has a ways to go before competing but still stay positive. Help him dont hurt him. Give him advice that will get him on the right track to where he wants to go.

Also I dont compete nor do I look as solid as some of you folks but if he wants to compete let him try a small local show. Its a start and taste of what its like.

From my stand point bro get your body fat on down around 8% and then really start working on adding some serious size. Dont let your bodyfat get out of control and then leave yourself enough time to lean out.

I am no expert like some of these folks but willing to share what I do know.

This website has some great authors like King and Poliquin. Anyone that hangs out here is going in the right direction. Lets make this a brotherhood and those that are willing to learn and listen lets welcome them with open arms.

got 8 LBS on so far. weighted inn today at 181LBS. Still 16+ weeks left to go going to start the diet (drop my carbs and upp the protein some more) @ 12 weeks out. Still aroud 10% BF. I’m getting 200+ gs of protein ED and 600+ gs of carbs ED. For fats I’ve been taking plenty of EFAs.

ok great…let’s see some progress pics. and i’d really like to see some shots from one or both of the previous 2 shows you claim you participated in if you can…

Yep…ditto, damn if HE can join in on contest then Im a sure “in”… and I dont think Im ANYWHERE near even thinking of competing…or never will!!
