okay…Punisher didnt really suck…it had its moments…but I just have to wonder, who in the hell came up with the idea of “The Punisher in Sunny Florida”…in my opinion thats a carerr killing idea and whoever came up with it should be tied up and physically abused for months on end.
The Hulk didnt really smash shit like he should have…I mean he did smash up a couple of tanks and rip a couple of mutated dogs apart, but where’s that unbridled rage that makes Banner afraid to turn into the Hulk…didnt mind the movie, but it was a bit artsy for the Hulk, hopefully the second one, which I belive is in development will have more lines of “HULK SMASH”
X3…I have 2 questions for this flick…what in the hell was Juggernaut supposed to be…looked like a he-man figure for gods sake!! and who has been giving Wolvie Estrogen shots…not near enough berserker action for me.
Oh and one other one, that I don’t think 2 many people have touched on…Superman Returns…wow…started out impressively, what with the plane rescue and all that…but what happenned after that…Brandon Routh was okay, if he was playing SuperBoy, but he is definetly not SUPERMAN.
Here’s hoping that the next batch of Comic Flicks will be better…cant wait for Batman vs the Joker and IronMan has a chance to be good as well.
There is a script floating around for Punisher 2, and the reviews are pretty solid. Apparently Tom Jane got really into the comics, and requested a lot of changes. It will be in New York, the villian will be Jigsaw, and it’s going to be horrendously violent. I likey. Jane said on his website it starts filming in January.

If you are right then that could save the Marvel slump of late. I hated the Punisher movie…since when does the Punisher need comic relief? You know it’s bad when you start waxing nostaligic for Louis “I’ll do anything for money” Gosset Jr.
As for the Hulk, did anyone else find themselves thinking “Shrek SMASH”? I am so sick of CGI, I was hoping they would go old school and have some BB painted green. Here’s a list of some of Hulk’s better known adversaries:

Don’t get me started on the death of a major X-man character off screen. You have Cyclops in 3 movies and as part of a forced love triangle and the best you can give him is an off screen death?!?!
