We beat LSU by more than the gators did. Tennessee was a prayer! haha

No doubt…just given them a hard time.

Problem is Bama lost their buckle. So Iowa and Oregon lost, should see what happens in the shuffle tomorrow.

My Clemson tigers had a rough first half and then came back to beat FSU 40-24 in an impressive second half.

CJ Spiller has got to be the toughest athlete playing college ball these days. What a fucking trooper.

just got back from this game, went all decked out with body paint, orange hair, etc… and had a group on the bottom of the hill spelling “We R Locked In”. I’ll have a couple pics up on here, it was awesome. CJ Spiller is a fucking beast, and our RS Freshman QB Kyle Parker threw 4 Td passes, freakin awesome!

Spike, y’all got another easy win, good to see man!

And Iowa, Oregon, LSU, Penn State, and a couple other ranked teams went down. Gonna be interesting rankings tomorrow to say the least

What time is it?

Its Tim Tebow time. DO NOT get up in Tim Tebow’s kitchen (like you don’t get up in Gucci Mane’s kitchen) and everything will be alright.

At the end of the Saban and 'Bama suck and will never win a ChampIONSHIP as long as Tim Tebow is there lurking in the NCAA. Alabama is overrated and have one of the worst fan bases out of any college sport whilst California and Javid Best are underrated. Best will be the best running back in the NFL next year.

N.B: On a side note it was Tim Tebow who was peeping on Erin Andrews and leaked the tape.

I was glad to get out w/ a W, especially a blowout and seeing the backups get PT. In the past we have destroyed SDSU in Ft Worth but struggled in CA. Luttrels INT was the #4 play of the day on ESPN.

I was glad to see you guys beat FSU, and Spiller is absolutely the real deal. Is it true he already has a degree?

The real test is Saturday. Utah comes to town and the Frogs will unveil new uniforms. unfortunately one of my bestest buds is saying I do at the same time. I’ll be the best man, and I’ll miss the game.

Damn,Spike…you’re like in a wedding every other week. Why are you letting all your friends ruin their lives?..lol.

true, but Tebow was not himself that game and it was at LSU. I am excited to see the SEC title game, should be good.

I am nervous about Saturday. I think Utah made some improvement on offense, but I think some of the scoring and yards come from New Mexico being absolutely terrible. I do think the blowout should give the offense some confidence, though.

You guys will bring your A game. I am confident of that. Besides, after the way your baseball team entered the conference tournament in 6th place, won the championship, beating us twice on our home field along the way, and winning 2 games in the regional I’ve learned to never count out the Utes!

It’s the same one, just been dreading it for 6 months. Been to 4 home games, all of which were blowouts, and we finally get some competition and I can’t be there. The last game of the year is so far winless New Mexico, triple yawn.

I did go to another one a few weeks ago, but they had enough sense to schedule it way before kickoff. I had to leave before the BBQ was served but ya gotta make sacrifices during football season.

I long for the days when Chief Osceola ruled the ACC with an iron fist. It is time for me to begin the journey down my own Trail of Tears.
Clemson and FSU at one time were both national level contenders and the toughest programs the ACC had. I think Clemson is due for some serious reprisal now that Bowden’s gone. There are whispers around town that Dabo Swinney is the second coming of Danny Ford. We already avenged our 2005 loss to Miami this year, and Boston College is in for thoroughly deserved beatings. Hopefully FSU will turn around in a similar manner, I went to high school with one of their starting LB’s and cheer for them when they aren’t playing Clemson.

What a shame. We’ll never know what might have been if Stanzi would have stayed healthy. Next week against Ohio State could be ugly.

It was only a matter of time for Iowa. Ive watched a couple of their games this year (vs. Indiana, vs. Wisconsin), and they were pretty underwhelming. Thats not to say their a bad time, they play some really good defense, but even if they ran through a weak Big Ten they would get pistol-whipped against the Pac-10 champ in the Rose Bowl IMHO. Their offense just doesnt have enough oomph.

On my end my Coogs are driving me nuts because their defense is absolutely abysmal. Luckily Keenum is continuing to channel is inner Graham Harrell/BJ Symons/Colt Brennan and is throwing for 500+ a game lately. I think we’ll be okay the rest of the season, but I didnt think we’d lose to UTEP either =/

I think if Stanzi stayed healthy, we would have won the Northwestern game, lost to Ohio State, finished 11-1, and then had a pretty decent shot at winning a bowl game… depending on who we had to play. At least the defense would have kept it close.

But now we’ll never know. At this point, I’d be THRILLED to just see Iowa beat Minnesota!

I also am nervous about Saturday. Utah’s offense has been pretty inept all year, hopefully we will carry this momentum to this Saturday’s game. I am not counting on Utah winning, but if we bring our best game we have a chance. Go Utes!

I agree with the playoff, don’t know how they would do it with that many teams, these are college kids. However, the reason the big schools are the big schools is because of the depth at each position. Baseball and Basketball can be dominated by single players. Football is a team sport, the small schools might win a few but as you go deeper in the playoff schedule with injuries etc. the small schools would lose.

Based on what you say the “depth” of the big boys would carry them through the post season. Thats part of the risk, a lot of times the healthiest team wins. Atleast that way the small schools have a chance to prove it on the field. As it is now they are relegated to the Boise bowl or the one at Ford stadium where they are either playing another small school, or someone from one of the “power” conferences that is barely bowl eligible after beating a 1AA team and a Sunbelt team, which doesn’t give them much chance to prove anything.

One other factor in my ideal scenario. Cut back the season to 10 games. Play 8 conference games, 1 for a big name opponant, maybe 1 for a local rival. No more 1AA bodybag games.
I can see your point, I have always hated the “bodybag games” myself. I want a playoff system just for the reason that it needs to be decided on the field. And I dont agree that the whole season is a playoff, Texas playing UCF is not a playoff game its a style point filler. All division one football makes money for old rich guys.

He either already does or will in December I believe, one of the reasons he came back was to finish his degree. We are sure as hell gonna miss him here in Clemson, not just as an outstanding player for us (20 TDs of at least 50 yards in his career, no one else in NCAA football history has done that, infreakin credible) but he has been the perfect face for our school, the guy is as humble as can be (He better be in our Ring of Honor because he deserves it 100%).

I’ll be trying to find that game of y’alls on TV or online somewhere this week, and I’m definitely rootin for y’all to sneak into that title game.

And check out the pic of my group at the Clemson game this past weekend (yep that’s me on the far left with the W on my chest haha). We were spelling “We R Locked Up” (there we 5 other groups on the hill spelling either “go tigers” or “clemson tigers” and the one group actually had “sportscenter is next” on their backs, thought that was pretty cool). The “We R Locked UP” is just a symbolic thing that the coaches and players do before games when they lock arms and walk across the field to show “team unity” so the fans were encouraged to do that this week.

So #4, #8, #9, #11, and a few others i can’t think of off the top of my head all lost, another crazy weekend y’all.
