I got a funny story about Washington. I just graduated college in May. I’m currently a PhD student at Washington University IN ST LOUIS . Well, I made my decision in February, right before Valentine’s Day. Well, my fiancee isn’t quite the athletic type, nor does she know anything about sports. Well, she goes to CollegeGear.com, picks up a Washington t-shirt that SHE likes, because it is purple. She thought she was getting me a Wash U shirt, when in fact, it was shipped from Seattle. She ordered it like 3 days before V-Day, and wondered why it didn’t show up until after V-Day.
Keep in mind, this has happened before with other sporting events and teams. Such as her buying me ski pants, only to have it turn out she bought me a women’s medium instead of a men’s. Stuff like that.
Ah, that’s why I love her
