I already informed my boss I will be sick on Sept 14th.
'Bama at Texas A&M.
Revenge game for Saban with Johnny Football picking up where he left off. I’m starting to like this cocky kid. If he beats Saban AGAIN, and then does the autograph and money gestures, he just needs to retire right there and see if a pro team will pick him up. Kid’s a stud.

I agree, it seems everyone on ESPN is trying to make people hate him, but I love it. The guy can play and he lets you know
Then again, I kinda liked Stephen Garcia when he was here at South Carolina

Exactly. Bottom line is the kid is a special player and I wish he played for my team (Arkansas).
He’s cocky, brash. So-what. I would love to be in his shoes. He’s living the dream, and there are tons of “haters” and this is his his way of saying F-U back at em. It makes great football. As if the damn SEC needs any more of that.

Sept. 14, circle that date.
Manziel is a douche.
He is seriously hurting his NFL future with his actions.
Teams don’t really want immature knuckleheads running their offenses and becoming the faces of their franchises.
He won’t be a great NFL QB either.
He is too small and his running around in circles for 20 seconds till someone gets wide open routine won’t work in the NFL.
I hope a defender for Bama (as much as I dislike them) takes this kids head off, fake signs an autograph and drops it on his KTFO’d body.
That would be amazing.
Then Saban would run on the field and kick that guys ass all the way back to the showers lol
Oh, I would like too see that too. I’m a 'Hogs fan.
BUT. The kid can play, and he’s entertaining. He’s a great villain and he makes great drama. He gives you someone to root against.
He has an NFL arm. Better than several starting QBs right now. Arm strength, accuracy, touch. He has the arm. Great footwork in the pocket. Sure, he is small. He’s not 6’5 230. He still can run and he will be a good (not great) NFL QB

Just got back from Jerry World. Now that I have seen an SEC team up close and personal I understand what all the fuss is about.
GO FROGS!!!
LSU homer here. How did my Tigers look live?
I thought TCU looked very good, especially the back end of their defense. I think TCU would have beaten the pre-Cam Cameron LSU offense of last year. Defensively, we obviously weren’t well-prepared for the read-option offense run by your 2nd QB (can’t recall his name, sorry). We’re going to have to address that, or other teams will do that to us all season long.
I thought Zach Mettenberger looked like a different QB c/w last year. It’s amazing what spending $1.5M/year on an OC/QB coach can do for a team.

Your guys were an interesting mix of big and fast. TCU recruits for speed, so we are usually the smaller team, but your guys were big and physical, yet very agile. A lot of speed in the right places.
Our CB #2 Verrett is an All American, and overall I like our defensive backfield. Upfront we are young but decent. Still no depth. We had a lot of attrition 2 years ago and have not quite caught up.
We said going into the game that we had to load the box and make your QB beat us and that is exactly what he did. My hat is off to him. Your O Line was impressive, our only sacks were on CB blitzes.
Trevone Boykin looks good when healthy. He got thrown into the fire last year when Pachall got a DWI in the middle of the week before Iowa State. He is getting better on his reads.
To a man every LSU fan I met was very cordial. I have heard a lot of rumors to the contrary, but that is not at all what we experienced. A great bunch of fans, and very vocal in support of their team.
I will be torn when you play Bama (5 Bama grads in the family) but wish you guys luck the rest of the season. I would not be shocked to see you win the National Championship.

Nobody from Alabama would do that. They aren’t classless like Manziel.

I know.
Saban would murder them on the spot lol
It would be pretty funny though
So it seems FSU is on the radar now and with Bama looking a little sloppy on the offensive side, this year may get interesting fast! I know we are just one week in to the season but I saw some good looking teams. It seems Georgia fans are ready to throw in the towel but Clemson is no joke and it was a 3 point game at home.

The Winston kid looked amazing last night. Has a cannon for an arm. My hope, although I know that it wont happen is that we get an Alabama or LSU vs Clemson or FSU title game. This is the most beatable that the SEC has looked to me in recent years though. I didn’t see any team that just really jumped out at me as a wow type team.
Alabama has issues on the line, Georgia has issues on D, LSU is undisciplined. I think most of this will get better as the year goes and new guys get some experience but this is def not our strongest year.
Bama fan here! Love the team but found they were sloppy in the last game. Hopefully there will be perfect execution on september 14th… so amped for that game.
Man, I’m so fucking amped about Winston. This kid can throw… but more importantly, he makes good decisions.
It’s going to be a good year.
WTF is this? Some Yankee rootin’ for my Noles?
Jameis Football FTW!
Christ. It only took eight years for us to find something to agree on. But really, this kind of outweighs all of the differences haha.
This kid is golden man… I think that as long as he stays healthy, FSU could be looking at some seriously bright years. Between him and that 1-2 running back combo, their offense is very, very capable.

No way. This kid can throw… and like I said, he makes great decisions. He actually knows the quarterback position… which immediately sets him apart from Tebow.

I sit here in stunned silence, FI and Push agree.
