I just watched the highlights of the BSC Final, what a fucking game indeed. I kinda regret not watching the game live - I was watching WWE instead , which was awesome because Jake “the Snake” Roberts returned at the end of the show.
How about that SEC dominance?
Fucking fluke that’s all. Everyone gets lucky sometimes. Besides FSU is practically in the SEC anyway, I mean there aren’t that many places farther south or east in the US. So SEC win pretty much.

That game was unreal. Overall I was very impressed with most of the bowl games. A ton of really close, exciting games. Even the small time games were fun to watch.
Ha I have to say, it does give me some comfort to know that the national championship, while not in the SEC is still in the south. The northeast, midwest and west coast couldn’t take it from us, they had to get another group of boys from the south to take it away from us.

A group of boys from the south, built like an SEC team, coached by SEC coaches…
It’s ok to not win one guys, you don’t have to rationalize it, it’s making you look pathetic. Just be glad FSU didn’t show up for the first half so the game was tight.

No we’re good now man. FSU was actually an SEC sleeper agent. I just didn’t realize it before.

How glad are you that Michigan State spared yall the embarrassment of having to play FSU in a national championship?? Ha you can talk trash but lets not get carried away if we are Ohio State/Big Ten fans.

I said, in this thread, that OSU would get dominated by FSU’s passing offense.
You got me though, I’m such a homer.
My edit from right after the Kick-6 Chris Davis return:
This is actually like worst case scenario for OSU. I know it seems like it should be hype city because we might get to the BCS Champ game now, but our secondary is fucking atrocious, and FSU will tear it apart.
I might actually be the most rational and level poster in this thread, go bark up other trees.
Truth be told, I was routing for both Oklahoma and FSU. I love seeing bama lose and former LSU coaches do well (except tricky nick of course). Besides, it’s recruiting time.
But if you are making fun for a loss or two, that says more about where you place the SEC. Doesn’t it?

I am just giving you a hard time man. I also thought that Auburn was going to get gashed by FSU. I actually had OSU picked to beat Clemson in a squeaker. I made a terrible call earlier in the thread thinking the Pac-12 was the nations best conference this year and Oregon was the best team. I still think the Alabama-Oklahoma game was a fluke but it happens and Bama played as bad as it has all season, partly because when the undersized DE’s for OK could pin their ears back and blitz without fearing the run they were wreaking havoc and the freshman QB played out of his mind. Winston’s stat line and the score would probably look a lot better for FSU had any of the Nole receivers even played decent.

I think you’re onto something here, it’s all a secret plan to reduce voter fatigue and hate for the SEC just in time for the playoff system.

It was a good game. I still thought the Rose Bowl was the best out of all the bowl games.
January 1st was a glorious day for sports.
Nebraska Georgia was a good game. SC vs Wisconsin was good for the majority of the game. LSU Iowa was better than expected. Obviously you have the Rose Bowl and then UCF upset Baylor.
and if that wasn’t enough the Winter Classic went down to the wire in a shoot out (I know it isn’t football related but that is still awesome).
