Indeed!

Anyone catch that Washington hired a new head coach? Pretty big deal up here.

It’s the Boise coach right? He should already have a solid grasp on recruiting in the area, and now he’s in a power conference which could help. Seems like a good hire.
Can’t believe that SEC title game. What a complete lack of defense in that game.

Yup. I think he’s going to do well at UW.

Ohio State is the most consistently overrated team in college football. Every damn year, massively overrated.

I believe you are forgetting UofM. Just the name bumps them up five places.
Mich State/Stanford is probably the game I am the most looking forward to. I would have rather seen Oregon/Bama in the Sugar. Or Oregon Baylor and tell the AAC to stay home. Clemson OSU should be good. After the defensive performance in the SEC championship I am even more worried about Auburn than I was originally.
Oregon is going to beat Texas like a dog and Stoops (who should have already eaten his words after losing to a team that lost to a bottom half SEC team, but I don’t think he has realized that) will have to eat his earlier comments.
some non bcs bowls look like they’ll be fun to watch
AdvoCare V100 Bowl Boston College(Andre Williams last game) vs Arizona(Ka’Deem Carey last game)
Cotton Bowl Ok St vs Missouri
Capital One Bowl Wisconson vs South Carolina(Jadeveon Clowney last game)
Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl Fresno St(Derek Carr last game) vs USC(Marquis Lee last game)
Clemson vs Ohio st has a little history.
The Iowa-LSU game might be fun to watch. See if LSU can get a little revenge after the last time with that Drew Tate Hail Mary.
Mizzou-Ok St as you said
Louisville-Miami also good.

you’re right about the Outback bowl. could be some pissed off kitties.
I enjoy a lot of the “lesser” bowls. see those players you’ve never heard of and go “we need to draft that guy”

I remember the guys name because there are as more LSU fans around here than any other school, so for several years his name was Drew (pick and expletive) Tate spoken often with disdain ha.

I’m hoping that the Outback will be Mr. Jennings coming out party. Could be a big game out of him.
And, just for entertainment purposes…

That was a very good Rose Bowl today. Exactly what I thought it would be.
I also turned off that Duke vs TA&M last night at half because I thought there would be no way their defense could stop Duke. Guess I was wrong.

Yes, you were. I was fortunate to be at the game and it was incredible to see Johnny Football have a career game right in front of me. That A&M defense was horrific, but the atmosphere was amazing. We had a great time. Loads of fun, amazing ending and then… A guy dropped dead right on the field. An AP photographer literally dropped dead from a heart attack right on the 20 yard line seconds after the game ended. Needless to say that dampened the mood. I feel terrible for him and his family.
RIP Dave Martin, may God welcome you home and bless your family through these difficult days.

Even if Bama comes back to win this, lol at the idea of “SEC defense.” I’ve been getting more and more convinced as the bowl season has gone on that FSU is going to absolutely obliterate Auburn.
I can’t believe some of these spreads in these bowl games. Bama was favorited by 17 and is getting stomped so far. Baylor was favored by something similar and lost.
