Yeah, might have to make another vat of beer chili for Sat…
I hope it’s as good as the hype. Watch it be a blow out. That’d suck. I don’t have a horse in race, but I want it to be awesome.
I am going for LSU for the win, but just barely.

Sooooo, Marquel Wade leveling a defenseless receiver who called a fair catch. Dirty hit, or honest mistake?
Uh, duh. That would have been a dirty hit even if he didn’t call the fair catch. Nice celebration about it to, like he just killed a buffalo to feed the tribe.
If that dick head sees another play this season, my characterization of the leadership on that team will have been spot the fuck on. They shouldn’t be waiting for the NCAA’s punishment. Then need to suspend his dirty-hittn, back talkin’, taunting a severely injured player, ass with out any help from the league.
But I bet they won’t, not even a second of suspension without being force by the league.
Did not see play. Video clip?
This is the only one left they pulled the originals… You don’t wave multiple times over your head to block the sun. I never doubted for a second he was calling for the fair catch, dude just absolutely destroyed him, helmet first. Then celebrated…
All I see is a group of polar bears humping in a snow storm. Is that what you posted?
Love the new BCS rankings. If Stanford wins out, they’ll be in the championship game, as either 'Bama/LSU will have a loss, and I don’t think Oklahoma State will remain undefeated after playing Oklahoma.
That’s definitely an extremely tall task, but it’s all on their shoulders now.
After watching alot of american football this year, i still cannot understand how much athletic talent the US has. I mean every team i’ve seen has at least one absolute monster on its roster! Even the smaller and weaker teams have one. And then there is teams like Bama and LSU…their second options for every position on the field is fast, strong and allaround athletic.

Lol and if you listen to the media all our kids are fat, slow and addicted to video games.
YES!! European media is guilty of that, “americans are fat, slow, uncordinated sobs”… then i’ll turn into ESPN america and see Jeff Demps running…there is one european who is faster than he is in the 100m… also american football is super addictive. I’ve watched at least three games every weekend!

For every elite College Division 1 athlete there are probably 10 who go to Division 2 and probably 20 who go to Division 3 and probably 50 who cant go to the next level because of life situations etc.

That is an absurd amount of athletic talent. One thing i have been wondering about drafting college players to NFL. Do players have anything to say about where they will be drafted. Lets say Andrew Luck who probably be the number one pick, can he influence where he will be drafted. It seems that the best college players will be drafted by the weak NFL teams. Like last year Von Miller was drafted to Broncos who had a 4-12 season, could he have done something to get him drafted by some better team, like Baltimore, that team played in the playoffs and had a 12-4 season.

Yeah, the top guys have a little say, to a point. They do or will have agents and there is pricing and maneuvering that can be done. The top guys usually know who is picking them, as you go down the draft it becomes more of a crap shoot.
Eli Manning absolutely positively did not want to go to the Chargers. They drafted him and then traded him to the Giants.

It very, very rarely happens, unless they are a QB with a very, very high grade No most draft picks have no say.
The whole goal for the NFL is to bring about Parity, they want a league for any given Sunday. Like last weekend when the Rams killed the Saints.

Thanks for the answers, its quite different than say football (soccer for you americans), where the best players will be playing for the best teams.
in the other news… i have jumped on the BAMA wagon ROLL TIDE!!!
The NFL was like that until the late 80’s really, Free agency changed the game.
Not for the worse in my opinion, I love the game and will watch all the games.
NOW if you are going to be a Bama fan, be a Bama fan for life.
Meaning next year dont go with another team just cause they are ranked high.
Not being a fair weather fan means a lot to us hardcore football fans.
