You are not in Texas anymore are you Toto? :)
Nope. Know anyone how is hiring? My wife and I are ready to head back.
Well I know a lot of people hiring but what do you do? Mostly medical occupational or if you work in construction there are certain jobs.

I thought you and the wife were teachers? Or am I totally off base?

You are right. I have done other jobs but teaching for me is really explaining difficult topics at.different levels to a variety of audiences ranging from one on to one to groups of 150 or more.

BUMP Damn guys let it drop to page two?

No. 14 Arkansas at No. 3 Alabama
No. 7 Oklahoma State at No. 8 Texas A&M
No. 11 Florida State at No. 21 Clemson
No. 2 LSU at No. 16 West Virginia

I guess these are the “Big” Games for this weekend.

Personally I think A&M and Okie St game will be the one I want to watch.

Bama over the Hogs
Okie State over A&M
Clemson shocks Gators
LSU slaps the taste out of WV’s mouth.

I pick Bama, Okie State, FSU, and LSU to win these games.

I don’t see any significant “upset alerts” this week. Maybe Arizona State bounces back and beats USC, but I don’t think that would be a big upset this year.

Finally get more than a few quality matchups this week, and even more next week when conference play gets in full swing for everyone.

In other news, incompetent douchebag Dan Beebe is on his way out from the Big XII. Way too late, IMHO.

Okay you two, WHY Okie st over A&M?

Honestly I have not had a chance to see either play yet, but going from last year and what each team lost.

I have to go with the Aggies.

It would be incredibly shocking if Clemson beat the Gators this week. It would easily be the most surprising result in the history of college football, considering that we will be in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday.

To me, Okie St’s offense is just too impressive, even if their defense hasn’t been too great. TAMU seems solid all the way around, but not spectacular. I think Gundy can outcoach Sherman, and I think the OSU offense will simply outscore TAMU.

However, those are just my off the cuff thoughts, and I don’t really feel that strongly about them. Wouldn’t be surprised to see TAMU win, necessarily. In fact I’ll probably be rooting for TAMU in this game given they’ve actually showed some balls to the Big XII off the field.

Okie st lost Hunter but they still have Blackmon, I am just not as sold on Weeden.

Will be fun to watch if I get a chance to watch it.

Sooners and Noles has to be #1
Should be a good game, I see an upset with the Noles taking the win.
Indeed.

Although it shouldn’t hardly be called an “upset” WHEN it happens tomorrow night.

*Trivia: I attended the 1980 Orange Bowl between FSU and Oklahoma. Got mild hypothermia. No kidding.

Temps in Miami that night dropped into the lower 50s. Girlfriend and I had endzone seats and the wind was howling through the horseshoe shaped stadium. I was wearing shorts and t-shirt. The game was a good four hours long. I got really, really cold. Was in bad shape.

To top it off I had locked the car keys in the car and spent quite a bit of time in parking lot before breaking in and getting car going. We were THE last vehicle out of the lot that night at something like 2 a.m. or so.

So glad this piece of shit is finally gone.

I guess he doesnt believe in the captain going down with the ship.

Think they will hire him for the SEC?

Just saw Andrew Luck again at our local Yogurt Land, he’s a straight up beast. Heisman Trophy here we come.

If you y’all could only watch one game this weekend which one would it be?? (excluding your fav. team)

^ My team is on a bye, so I go with the Okie and Aggie game.

I have to run http://www.beachpalooza.com/...1_galveston.php this Saturday at 10 and afterwards we will probably be doing stuff, so do not know if I will be able to watch any games. :frowning:
