My mom is a prescription drug addict, and a year or so ago I had to check her into a psyche ward to get off clonopin. She was hallucinating and babbling, seeing dead people and dead dogs and wandered out into the cold one night in January. The detox was tough, alot of shivering and vomiting. It took her 5 weeks to get off it, and they had to replace it with an antipsychotic which I believe she is still taking.
She now hates me for getting her detoxed. She’s a lifer in the Rx addict club. Don’t go down that road.
