Are my beloved Cavs reverting to past history?

No, they are just being handed a rather large reality check. The Spurs are too good to get beat by one player. Get LeBron a point guard and a coach who can, well, coach, and they’ll win a championship.
It looks like it. Hopefully the fans at home can help motivate. Regardless of what James does, they are not going to win until they figure out how to stop ANYBODY on the Spurs.
Reality check is right. The Cavs are a mediocre team that worked its way through a mediocre conference. Lebron may have been enough to get them this far but the Spurs are just on a different level in terms of their ability and experience. You can’t really be surprised that the cavs are getting spanked.
Reality check x 3.
The Cavs are not an elite team. This series belongs in the first round, not in the Finals. It’s a total mismatch.
It’ll be a major upset if the Cavs can push this series to six games. They don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of actually winning the series.
LeBron is just still too young. Twenty years ago, he would have just finished his SR year in college. He’s still a few years away from being a “great” player.
Stick a fork in 'em…
