Same thing happened to someone at my gym - turns out it was because they weren’t wiping down the equipment enough before using it (or the person before them didn’t wipe it down afterward). So make sure you do that and see if it goes away.

If I do not sit in the steam room for 10 mins post workout I always break out even though I shower every time. You just need to get all the gunk out of your sweat glands. I would also suggest getting a lufa on a stick and scrubbing your back with it.
It happens. As long as you aren’t constantly cratered across your back, you just have healthy high-normal hormone levels. Hardly a problem in my book. Get some salicylic acid shower gel and a loofah and call it a day.
I’m 15 and I’ve been having that problem. These two things basically eliminated the problem:
-Take a shower as soon as you can after working out. It doesn’t need to be long or anything; just wash off all of the sweat.
-Try to spend some time in the sun with your shirt off. It doesn’t have to be long, but the sun will kill your acne. I try to spend at least 10-20 minutes outside with my shirt off every day. Mow the lawn, water the garden, or just lie there… but I hate doing nothing and just lying there. You can also get fucked up tan lines from just lying there. Walk around outside with your shirt off.
Ah, if you can get past this problem, atleast you know you got a good test and hormone profile! I got the same problem a little bit ago, especially during spring football, wearing pads without a shirt under it. Scrubbing it when I showered and using acne pads just got rid of it.
I have this problem bad. I’m 22, use salicylic acid body wash twice daily and use those oxy-pads too on my back. I take a shower within 30 minutes of finishing my workout, I have net carbs of 70g/day 25 of which is fiber. I take plenty of antioxidants and generally it still sucks.
Either my testosterone is through the rough or my life just sucks. Been to a dermatologist and really only thing that ever worked was accutane when I was 16 and generally that fucked with my head so I stopped taking it after 2 months. Anyone else got some thoughts?

Na, volume is the same but I vary the intensity.

No
I do maintain good hygeine. I shower within 60 mins after my workout. Use a sweat towel on all equipment.
I am going to use a lofer with a handle on it, to reach my back. Also I will start using the steam room for a couple of weeks. Hopefully, a combination of both will alleviate this problem. Thanks heaps…
do you have a diet that is net anti-inflammatory
None at all.
LoL. Most of us are Totally in the Inflammatory zone. I dont really see how veggies 2x a day is gona help. I’ve had acne problem on my back since puberty. It got worse as i “trained”. but now its kind of “tamed”.
I have acne on my back too. I shouwer twice a day on training days and once on normal days. Don’t sleep without a clean t shirt on. ANd I don’t mean the one you wore all day, pick up some cheap ts from walmart to wear to bed. ALSO: certain body scrubs help, but you’ll have to try a few to find what works for you. My bacne has cleared up a little bit since then. sleeping with a clean shirt on probably has helped the most.
I wouldn’t waste your time with Salicylic Acid washes, they’re far too gentle (ineffective) for the back.
I’d recommend getting a Benzoyl Peroxide wash at 8 or 10% active ingredient (I believe Oxy makes one, and they also have prescription ones), and use that on your stick-loofah.
Wash your back with it, and let the suds sit on your back for a minute or 2 before rinsing them off. This is what my dermatologist recommended to me, and I no longer have a single problem anywhere on my back/shoulders.
