everyone who lifts to look good is vain, everyone who dresses to look good is vain.

stay on topic please, i know its hard to do when youre trying to argue something that is impermeable but just for shits give it a shot.

Everyone who lifts and spends money on supplements DOES NOT equal vanity-seeking bodybuilder. You fail to your knees, junior.

To stay on topic…fuck you and Merry Christmas…maybe you’ll be lucky enough to see another one…aka…have a Happy New Year.

People don’t care how much you spend on clothes. People make fun of you because you’re buying designer jeans when you have no heat. That’s not vanity, that’s stupidity. I know it’s hard for someone like you, but try to stay on topic, chief.

The one thing I can’t stand about Christmas time is the constant ringing of those fucking bells outside the grocery stores. Don’t get me wrong–I think it’s great that these people are standing out in the cold all day for the sake of charity. It’s just the constant “ding-ding-ding!” of those bells drives me up a fucking wall.

I wonder if any of those guys get repetitive use injuries from that line of work.

I hope I don’t hang with anyone who would buy some jeans over making sure the electricity was on.

I put that on the same level as buying a brand new Cadillac Escalade when you are being kicked out of your apartment for non-payment of rent.

If you don’t see a problem there, that is your own issue. Clearly, other people do see a problem with it.

No one gives a shit that he simply wanted some jeans.

Issue: whether a community college student unable to perform basic algebra living in his mother’s basement and serving food for a living is in any position to mock someone based on age.

Thesis: nope!

Please don’t “disagreeance” with me on Christmas eve. That’d make you a “hipocrite”!

fucking morons.

Your moms couldn’t afford to keep the lights on, and you were talking about paying $50, or whatever the fuck it was, on some “please fuck me in the ass” pants.

I can afford to buy what I want AFTER I pay for what I need.

How do you not understand just how much of a fucking punk-assed little bitch you are?

you mean you can afford what you want after you sell your own blood? try again you salty old fuck.

When I was selling my plasma, I didn’t get anything for myself. The lights stayed on, the kids stayed fed, and the rent stayed current.

I didn’t go sell some plasma to buy me a pair of “I love the taste of salty balls” pants when I should have paid the electric bill.

Call me old if that’s the best you can do. Most children do that. Why should you be any different?

I kind of wrote that tongue in cheek. I know, I know, it doesn’t come through in text the same as it does when spoken.

I never took the time to look up the original post where LiveFromThe781 mentioned having his gas turned off promptly after buying a pair of $70, decadent, already distressed, triple stitched, pinacle of sartorial style, washed in the tears of orphaned children, I-don’t-give-a-shit-about-sweatshop-laborers, namebrand-so-exclusive-you’ve-never-heard-of-it jeans, but I’m guessing there may have been some extenuating circumstances. Or not. It’s kind of funny how much everyone has berated him for this.

Oh shoot. Where was I going with this? Uh… yeah I was about to give some let’s-all-take-out-our-excess-energy-

well if youre lifting weights and spending money on supplements because you want to look good - which was my point when i said there is no difference between people who lift to look good vers people who dress to look good - then yes, you are seeking vanity.

everytime you try to argue against what i said you bring up people who dont lift for looks which is not what i said. i really wish this site had font options so i could put it in big size 30 letters for you, VANITY IS VANITY. IF YOU SEEK VANITY THROUGH CLOTHING OR THROUGH MUSCULATURE YOU ARE STILL SEEKING VANITY.

Well, when I start wearing my pants like that, then I will stop commenting on style. And when you grow up, maybe you will stop gargling jizz and actually pay some fucking bills.

who wouldnt want to spend $100 on jeans dyed in the tears of orphans? i mean come on thats a steal.

I knew there were some extenuating circumstances. I don’t think I could have passed on a deal like that either. Putting on a pair of jeans that were dyed in the tears of orphans always makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

You’re stupid is so all encompassing that it’s hard to point to one part of the stupid. RJ and myself are app. the same age and pay bills for our families. We take care of ourselves and our families. We are what is called grown ups.

When you have what is called your shit together, you might understand this. My lifting has always been performance, ie, getting strong first. Being built better than you average guy in the 20s is a pleasant side effect.

I spend money first on supplements for health. Protein powder is an efficient way for a 45 year old gut to get protein with little fat due to gall bladder issues. Fiber, pharmaceutical grade C and other stuff is for the good ole antioxidants.

Going to school for 8 years and having my own chiropractic office allows me to buy some , or actually a lot of weightlifting equipment to stay in shape.

As for homo jeans, I much prefer to spend my money on great scotch, match grade hunting ammo and shooting ammo, high grade weaponry, home improvements, and other such grown up things.

And nice presents for my family on Christmas, good drink for friends and family, and some great food. We actually have what are called friends and family that love us and enjoy our company. Probably because we’re not parasitic little grinch like wanna be lazy asses.
