Ain’t nothing wrong with Christmas.

Ain’t nothing wrong with Christmas.
Maybe you shouldn’t end your cycle right before xmas.

Oh yes there is.

I’m 45 and agree. I’m busy, I have things to do, but holidays can be fun. I save money to buy presents and don’t go to overboard. I plan stuff out and have a great time with my friends and family.
Of course, very few people think about more than a few days from now. Snow tires? do you live in a winter area and have them or not? you do and you probably enjoy Christmas.
You don’t and you’re probably the idiot in front of me getting stuck on the hill with your Chevy Crapplier and it’s bald tires complaining about Christmas and winter as I merrily go around you on the way home to my family.

Or you finish your last minute christmas shopping in shorts and flip flops, and then relax in the pool after fighting traffic home. Which is also enjoyable.

Then move the fuck out of Massachussetts, damn.
I work in retail and don’t have a problem with Christmas. That’s something I’m sick of hearing. Don’t want to work retail during the holidays? Then either go to college or go work in the back of the kitchen, avoiding customers.
And I don’t understand what’s such a ‘chore’ about Christmas. Again - if seeing your family is such a big deal, don’t pussy-foot around the situation. Call them and tell them straight up that you don’t want to visit or see them at all. There - I guarantee that’ll free up your Christmases for years to come. No more hassle.
I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: It’s all in the mentality you take about Christmas.
ba humbug. how can you not love christmas?
Gifts, turkey, snow, the tree… what is not to like?
And what about John Lennon’s classic so this is Christmas? Listining to it for the 10th time today.
Oh, and the Trailer Park boys christmas special to.
Well, my squadron shuts down for 2 weeks. I get to take two weeks of leave and see my family. So as far as I’m concerned, xmas is f’n great.

i really think the cutoff for this holiday is like 14 or whatever age you stop getting tons of presents or whatever age the majority of your presents suck.
theres nothing merry about it at all, theres too much pressure on christmas for it to be happy. stupid dinner parties, chaffing sweaters, buying presents. all this just because?
its a holiday for parents and children, thats it. i just think Christmas is completely overblown and empty. and since im 21 the only holidays i care about are St Patricks day, haloween and NYE. everything else is just sappy.
oh- plus all the tv shows are ghey
WAAAAAAAA!!! Cry me a river. Have a kid, christmas will be fun all over again.

first off cold weather is the best. why? because you can always get warm, put on a jacket. in the hot weather you can only do nothig and stay hot. it sucks, plus theres plenty of gay boys walking around with their shirts off casually, which is uncool.
christmas is nice. dont get caught up in buying heaps of presents. just chill out and eat like a cunte, and recognise it as god’s birthday rather than “what did mommy buy me” day.
im not religious either, so putting that signifcance to it would do even less.
i used to think like you about the cold too. but you live in ireland and i live in boston, theyre two different kinds of cold.
hot weather is better cause theres plenty of hot chicks walking around in bikinis and short-shorts. plus i dont like wearing layers
I can take it or leave it.
I like the days off, but my family isn’t all that large and I see them regularly, so the holidays are not all that earth shattering. It’s dinner.
I don’t like Christmas music (except for Fairytale of New York by the Pogues) and don’t like Christmas shopping because of the hypocritical psychos who crush people to death while buying presents for children (that could have happened anywhere, and you all know it).
What I really don’t understand is when people try to get into this thing of, “I’ll be nice (to someone) because it’s Christmas.”
Either be nice the whole fucking year, or don’t. But don’t pretend that one three week feel good circle jerk is going to make up for the rest of the year. I would do anything for the people I like any time of the year- the rest can go to hell for all I care. That goes for Dec. 25, jan 22, july 15, or sept. 12.
I also decry the people who show up at church only on christmas day. If i only saw someone once a year on my birthday, i wouldn’t consider them much of a friend. Maybe Jesus is different. I hope so.
Wow. It sounds like I hate christmas. I swear I don’t… I think I just don’t like people (regardless of season.)

Snow.
Christmas sucks for the fact that i work at a grocery store and it is probably the busiest time of the year. I pretty much hate all holidays because of this.
Only good thing is i got a standing rib roast today for $3.77 a pound plus my special 25% off employee discount. So freaking cheap, can’t wait to cook it on sunday.
i work in a resturaunt, i can steal meat, cheese, eggs, lobsters, whatever. but i never do ;(
every day in retail sucks, im so glad i got out of my retail job. i cant believe how long some of the people worked there for and i cant believe that people would quit and come back.
i like hospitality way more than retail, both have their advantages and disadvantages but nothing is worse than walking arounda place with blaring florescent lights for 8 hours listening to mixtape compiled of the least offensive songs known to man, including such smash hits as:
Mmbop, Bye Bye Bye and whatever that cunt on the piano plays where she says “it break my hear-ar-ar-ar-art” i fucking hate that song.
how could you guys not like christmas its such a happy time lol i personally love it
